The service was great and the staff are very nice however the food unfortunately and decor is very bland and very small portions. The room decor is very dated and needs a good refresh and the tables and tableware need replaced. I got the chicken stack and it had 3 little slithers of chicken that were dry, probably because they were soo thin. The bacon was burnt mostly and the garlic chips were in a pond of butter. My husbands burger was lost in the bun it was that small. We both left still hungry and very disappointed as its expensive for tiny portions.

Highly recommend the Bryansburn Inn, first visit in 5 years. Food amazing, piping hot, steak cooked to perfection. Young staff efficient and friendly. Decor looks great, credit to the new owner. We will be back!

If you need a lovely space for a function do not hesitate. I Held my daughter's 18th birthday party in the room downstairs. The staff was very helpful and professional nothing was to much trouble. It was very private and comfortable. If your thinking of a function for any occasion definitely go and see this great place. You won't be disappointed.

First time I’d been here and not disappointed. It was a group dinner, 50 or so of us, and everything was delivered swiftly, all the mains were hot, all the puddings hot or cold as they should be, and everything looking as fresh as though it was the only meal they’d prepared. It was all delicious and very well cooked and presented. The atmosphere was beautifully calm for such a large area and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Although we were in a big group I felt as personally cared for and valued by the staff as though I was the only person there, and others in the group agree. Highly recommended, and a big thank you to all the lovely staff.

Having been here a number of times and found the food good, portions on the larger size and service excellent, on this occasion I found the standard of the food being presented has dropped off. We ate off the lunch special which is served between 12 and 6pm and is good value. To start, battered mushrooms, they were served dripping in oil, consequently they were overbearing and I only managed two before being put off. My other half had deep fried brie, usually the cheese is runny, not this time, which set us up for two disappointing starters. Mains comprised of an 8oz sirloin steak, chips, mixed veg, onion/mushrooms on top and a boat of pepper sauce. Some of the chips were not cooked right through, the peppers sauce was watery, otherwise the rest was good, unfortunately the aforementioned ruined the mains experience. Not sure if this place has changed hands but it's not as good as it was, next time I'll drive on round to the Crawfordsburn Inn

We stopped at Bryansburn Bar and Grill after a long train ride! We were warmly welcomed and immediately given water and the choice of tea or coffee. They have MANY gluten free options and the burgers were huge!! Thank you to your staff for treating us foreigners so kindly! The food was delicious.

I hadn't been at The Bryansburn Inn for quite a few years. I dined there with my wife at 7:30pm on the evening of 30 September 2022 with another couple. The bar and restaurant was busy, which is a good sign. The staff are very friendly and after taking our drinks order give us time to select our meal. When our meal arrived I was very impressed with the service, size of the portions and quality of the food. This has been one of the better places I have dined at in recent times. Both the male and female members of staff are a credit to the owners. Because of them, the quality of the food and service I will be returning, only this time I wouldn't be leaving it for a few years... more like a few weeks. Thank you to The Bryansburn Inn for a most enjoyable evening in the company of welcoming staff, delightful surroundings and very delicious food.

Didn't want the formality of restaurant dining, so opted for lunch in the lounge bar. The setting was warm and comfortable, if you don't mind horse racing on the big screen TV. Service was good and the menu adequate. I opted for the chicken stack with a side of skinny fries and my partner the 10oz sirloin with garlic potatoes. The portions were excellent and the food was of a good quality. My partners eyes were bigger than her tummy and couldn't finish hers, so you'll be glad to hear they will box up what you don't eat so you can take it home. I soldiered on and decided on dessert, for which I chose lemon cheesecake with ice cream, however, the waiter was distracted and I got fresh cream which at the end of the day I didn't mind, so no complaints, and it was beautiful served with fresh berries and honeycomb. Together with a large glass of wine for the lady and a pint of coke the bill came to a little over £60. Hadn't been here in years, but would recommend it for a lazy lunch followed by a few bevvies for those who want to make an afternoon of it.
