I don't know why we haven't ordered from the Star of Bengal before, After reading the reviews we thought we would give it a try. Absolutely delicious. Great portion size, perfectly cooked with plenty of chicken and amazing flavours. Nan bread and rice fab too. We will definitely order again and we will also dine in.
Had our first meal here tonight and the food was amazing. Staff were lovely and very attentive. Will definitely be back. Highly recommended

Amazing food and amazing service. Came for the early bird deal, £15.95 for 2 courses and byob (free corkage). Was outstanding and service was 10/10. Will definitely be back!!
First time ordering from Star of Bengal and it really didn’t disappoint. Starter portions were absolutely huge, and both mains were very fragrant & tasty with a generous amount of chicken in each dish. Are til we were stuffed and have plenty of leftovers for the freezer.
Star of Bengal. Just one star from me. Ordered a takeaway and it took nearly 2 hours to get delivered. Shocking. Notification at 7pm and still no delivery at 7.30.
Beautiful food take away or dining in people so friendly nothing to much for them don't be frightened to take away here you will enjoy. I'm fussy.
Best vegetarian Indian in Bangor by far and I've tried them all ! Lentil dahl, spinach paneer, vegetarian curry and mushroom rice, chips all absolutely gorgeous. The types of vegetables they use in the veggie dishes and the variety are superb. My partner is a meat eater and says every meal he has had from SOB has been absolutely delicious also. Wouldn't get from anywhere else now ! Thanks Star Of Bengal, please don't change !
