    We absolutely loved our recent dining experience here. The overall menu variation is fantastic, making it easy to find something for everyone, and the pricing offers exceptional value for the caliber of food. The real highlight, however, was the local venison Wellington. It was rich, incredibly tender, and perfectly preparedβ€”easily the best Wellington I’ve ever had. Highly recommend this spot!

    Absolutely smashing lunch. I had a special of French Onion Soup followed by a Portavogie Prawn special starter, both were superb. My dad had the same Portavogie Prawn starter to start, and followed with Cajun Spiced Crispy Squid - both were excellent. The staff were really friendly and chatty, and we also met and talked to the owner/chef Garry, who explained a bit of the background of the restaurant and his 6 and a bit years of ownership. The restaurant is, in our opinion very good value with some items less than you would pay from a larger freezer based restaurant. You can see that Garry and his two chefs have a passion for good food and the variety, quality and presentation back this up. We will certainly be back soon!

    Went on a Friday evening. Fairly busy, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. Food was really Good. My only criticism was that as soon as we finished our starters, the main course was brought out. I'd have preferred more of a gap - having said that our table was booked for 6pm and they needed the table back for 7.45pm. I ordered the special which was venison bourginion. It was delicious however there wasn't nearly potato for the amount of sauce. Ordering a separate side would be recommended. All in all it was a really lovely meal and I would definitely go back.

    The most delicious lamb shoulder I've ever eaten, with perfect veg and a red wine jus! Savoured every bite. The service was excellent and so friendly. Well worth a visit. It was quiet at lunch time but evening telephone bookings were coming in constantly while I was there, so booking is obviously essential.

    A fantastic first visit for us! Nice venue with plenty of atmosphere. The food was superb and there was a great selection of wines, cocktails and beers. Try the fish skin poppadoms as part of your tapas and I would recommend the steak! Can't wait to return!

    What a hidden gem and how lucky we are to have found it. Without doubt one of the best restaurants in Bangor if not county Down. The food we had was the best we have had in Bangor. Excellent variety on the menu, and a fantastic wine list. The staff were brilliant which topped of the experience. Looking forward to our next visit.
