   Ordered a cheeseburger with fried onions and salad A very well done fish Small chip Half portion of of onion rings Total £24 75 !!! Cheeseburger- didn't get any salad fried onions dripping in grease so the bap was greasy and inedible. Fish was very greasy and totally undercooked the batter run out of it when I cut into it absolutely disgusting. Onion rings were the same as the fish totally undercooked. The small portion of chips were cold . Will never go back .

   Staff member taking phone orders while you are standing in front of them waiting to order is an absolute disgrace. Your staff need to be trained in a basic level of customer service.

   Honestly the worst fish I’ve ever eaten. Impossible to eat, so tough and overcooked. The rest of the food was pretty good, but the fish so bad we will never use this chippy again.

   Me and my friends ordered tonight from here and we wont be back. The way the food was packed was atrocious.We had gravy chips and a cowboy supper and and they were packed sideways in the bag and not upright, when my friend held the bag driving home the sauces had leaked through the paper bag and severely burned her thighs!!!! We had to pull over, the chips, sauce and beans were leaking and when the boxes were opened we were left with barely anything as it had spilled all over us and the ground. The food was average but extremely overpriced and the staff were lovely but spoke very quietly so nobody was able to hear when they’re order was ready. It also was not advertised online that both the chippy and apache are linked so when you order a pizza from the chippy it’s Apache.

   It's a bad job when a chip shop burns chips! Surely it's not that hard? I also use the word chips loosely since most were more like scag ends, not even proper chips. Oh and goujons also burnt and inedible. I now remember why I don't usually buy from this chip shop. It's rubbish.

   Great wee chippy, the food is great and very friendly staff, can be quite busy at tea time with takeaway deliveries and telephone orders for collection so could be a bit of a wait, but well worthwhile , fish and pasties are tasty.

   Being going there for at least last 4-5 years but sorry it's gone down hill long wait prices to high and ordered a delivery to be told by the delivery guy cash only surely the girl should have told me on the phone. Wrong drink sent and chips were cold! Will not be back

   Yesterday I bought a fish supper and a fish. We have eaten from here before and it was good. However, yesterday the fish supper was lovely, the fish a nice golden colour, but when we opened the box for the fish on its own it was a dark brown colour. Inside it was dry and not nice, the batter hard and uneatable. I would have taken it back, but we live in Carrickfergus, so it would have meant an eight mile round trip. I would have hoped that when the staff saw it they would have realised that it was overcooked, and not just sent it out anyway. Even more disappointing as it cost £7.25.

   They had a good selection of options to choose from.They have a range of meals deals and offers for certain nights of the week.The chip yard chippy is located on shore road Newtown abbey.if you don't live near the chip yard you could drive down to lough shore and enjoy the scenery. Or you could drive up to hazel bank park and enjoy the scenery.we where very satisfied with are purchase.
