My Son called into Ballygowan road john Dory's today his order was over £29 Food was not good at all they forgot to give him the curry sauce so I had to go back they never said sorry. Came back and he had found 2 black hairs in the chips so will Definitely not be back. Feel Sick
Sounds like a strange complaint to have but food arriving almost 30mins early than I asked for, it is annoying. Especially when trying to get a baby down to bed before it arrives! Food is nice but it ends up being a bit cold as I've had to leave it to the side as it's so early. Second time this has happened so probably won't bother to order delivery again.
Bought my first burger since covid, thought I'd treat myself to a Hawaiian burger, cost over £5 , never again will I go to John Dory, I work next door in a Spar. I think they thought I was soft. Never again.
There is always a good bit of a wait here but the food is worth it! Good portion size and is very tasty.
This is our local chippy. Fish chips pasties chicken burgers are all delicious. Food cooked as per order. Always great and never greasy.
We called into John Dory’s, which is on The BallyGowan Road in Belfast, to get a takeaway for our dinner. We pre-ordered our takeaway by phone & we told them that we would pay by Credit Card. The staff are very friendly & helpful & told us how much money the takeaway was. There are several other takeaway services that John Dory’s own here in Belfast. If you need anymore information, you can Google them & it will give you a list of locations were John Dory’s are. Also, make sure you phone them, when placing your order for collection. Ordered on the app where you have to add any customisations in a notes box rather than customising the item ordered. Requested the burger I ordered to be completely plain. Picked up my food, got home and the burger had all sorts of dressing and sauce on it. Went back to be told their records don't have any such note about the burger being plain. Then told if you want to order something else talk to the staff and the guy I was dealing with went into the back and didn't come out again. I know what I put in the app. Maybe a glitch in the app or something but seriously, for the sake of the price of what a burger would cost them they wouldn't do anything to help me?? Have had issues with our order before. Won't be back. Terrible customer service.
I have made an order through their app, thinking it's better to get the food when I get there in the pandemic. Food should be ready by 19:50 (40 minutes from placing an order). I have received the food with 30 minutes delay (standing in the cold)! Everybody who ordered their food on place got it before me, so what's the point of having an app? Employees weren't wearing gloves, and some wore masks under the nose. Long story short food was cold. Scampi should be served with salad but was served with few cold chips instead. Scampi dry and some weren't even buttered. Time to say goodbye! PS picture shows the full portion of "scampi with salad".
