Worst Chinese I’ve had to date. Food is tasteless. No effort, all slimey. Seems like left overs from previous night. Prawn crackers are also off/ days old. Avoid

Worst chinese we have ever had. !! Just vile. Chicken processed. Satay awful. Honey chilli chicken tasted like it was off. Slimey. Waste of money. !!! Only 3 stars on the door. Hygiene rating. Would give zero stars of we could. !!! Only deal with cash.

Lovely people and very quick and helpful service. Portion sizes were enormous. But sadly this was the worst Chinese takeaway we have ever had. The Crispy Golden Chicken was grey, resembling uncooked prawns. There were 2 pots of cold, glutinous gravy covering a couple of slices of meat - no idea what that was. Chicken satay tasted more like chicken curry. A complimentary bag of greasy prawn crackers sat on top.

The food was tasteless, Chicken chow mein, chicken looked like it had been boiled in a pot, noodles were like spaghetti! Other meal was mean to be hot and spicy. It was watery and no flavour at all. Very poor as this used to be my go to Chinese.

Best Chinese takeaway around. The food is always piping hot and full of flavour. The staff are friendly and delivery is always fast. Massive portion sizes and not expensive either. Been using this chinese since I was a child and never had a bad experience. The chicken fried rice is amazing. If, like me, you like curry but can't handle the spice, I highlly recommend the Malaysian style curry. It still has a little spice to it but it isn't over the top. It's also creamier and lighter in colour than the regular curry. Unlike a lot of other takeaways, you won't find any fillers such as carrots in your curry (seen that in a lot of chinese takeaways in Belfast) or tinned ham in your chicken fried rice.

The Evergreen Chinese takeaway is pretty good take away, certainly one of the better ones in Greenisland. It's been there for as long as I have been in Greenisland, which is more that can be said for any number of shops and takeaways. The menu hasn't changed in that time either, apart from the addition of Pan Pan, Bo Bo and Shanghai Dishes, which you will not find on the printed menu but you can see on the attached photographs. Our favourite has always been the Shanghai chicken with noodles. Bewarned that it's really creamy, but that's what makes it for us. The last time we had it, the noodles were exceptionally smokey. I loved it when it was mixed with the cream but the rest of the family were less fussed. There is a delivery service which prompt, though we usually just drop in as they will be quick. If you do want to order from here be warned that they do not have a card machine, they only accept cash. The nearest cash machine during opening hours is in the nearby supermarket in the village, or at the petrol station on the top road at other times. The staff are friendly and happy to help if you want to ask what they can do for you.

This is our go to Chinese for the nights where I just can't be bothered cooking or just when I want a really great takeaway! Always friendly service and yes as the other review states, a great serving when it comes to the food, not only in portion size but in quality. The food is always clean and I've never (in over 10 years eating from here) had a bad meal.
