Used to love their chicken pakora but it is awful now has a really strange taste order was delivered wrong tonight missing sauces and sauce over kebab when asked for separate both kebabs ended up in the bin as strange taste from the chicken really sad as it was our favourite for kebabs.

I was so disappointed with my delivery order today. I ordered popadoms, kebabs and korma chips. The food was delivered after 90 minutes, and it was freezing cold. We had to micro wave it which isn’t acceptable. The popadoms were horrible, floppy and obviously not fresh at all and were totally inedible. How can an Indian takeaway get the quality of popadoms so wrong? I have ordered from here several times in the past and the food is usually good, but this experience has put me off from ordering from here ever again.

Before you read this review, I did call them to offer the right to reply before posting . This has to be the worst take away we’ve ever had, I am not exaggerating. It has all been binned because it was disgusting. I ordered a chicken tikka kebab, the pitta bread was in bits before i took it out of the box and the chicken was dry as a bone, no salad and whatever sauce it came with was vile. My wife had prawns in butter sauce, it was inedible, the sauce was like soup, one forkful was more than enough, It takes a lot for me to leave a review this bad but it is warranted. We now have a frozen pizza in the oven. Biggest waste of £30 in my life. Their response when I phoned back… “do you want us to remake it?” No thanks. Back to Khyber next time.

Just got tonight and absolutely appalling. Mixed kebab. Burnt ends and kebab meat totally dry and inedible. Worst kebab I’ve got. Had to take back and refund given

I ordered from this restaurant on Monday night at 7pm and the delivery didn't arrive until 9:30pm - and it was cold. On ringing this restaurant I found the customer service appalling (rude, dishonest and completely unhelpful) - an opinion repeated in many of the (many)1 star reviews on this site. Thankfully there are many better, more polite and helpful Indian restaurants locally such as the Indian Ocean.

Ordered a meal deal for two, good value for money. 2 starters, garlic mushrooms and tandoori mixed starter, very tasty, real nice, thoroughly enjoyed them both. 2 main, both chicken kormas with pilau rice. Rice was great, chicken was great, unfortunately were it went wrong is the korma sauce. I suspect that the particular batch of sauce made that night was made incorrectly (im not a chef this is just a guess). The korma sauce had no flavour of coconut nor was it sweet. It was incredibly salty, so much so that I suspect that maybe there was a mix up between sugar and salt (and im not even joking when I say that) We couldnt eat it. We ended up fishing the chicken out of the sauce and salvaging what we could. Again, I hope it was a simple mistake. But it was a let down to say the least.

Food here is fantastic!!!!!! Best currys in Newtownabbey by a long mile!!!!! Never once had a bad meal, always perfect, sadly tho sometimes the service is not so great, but worth it for the food at the end of the day. Wish the prices were slightly better as last price hike has stopped us getting as many orders as its simply too dear for a family take-away regularly
