My son rang for a delivery at 5pm was told it would be 45 minutes, never got it till 6.30pm , chips seemed as tho they had been recooked , burger was like cardboard and wasnt exactly what you would call warm and the pizza wasn't much better , first time having this problem with them but has now put me off ordering again
I usually get from this place and its usually nice how ever tonight I placed an order at 5pm and it didn't arrive until 10 to 7 after being told 45 minutes to an hour the 14 inch margarita pizza was like card board and cold the chips where cold and the burgers wasn't even eatable it was burnt all the food was cold and pizza box was damp most likely won't order from here again.
I have been going to spice island for months now on my way home from a night out, always had excellent kebabs and pizzas, however last weekend I went in with my partner and his friend, both of their orders were taken while mine was not despite me standing at the counter waiting beside them, the next customer (also male) to come in got his order taken and I was still left without service, now I don't know if this is just a coincidence that the blokes got service while I (the only female) did not or if there is another potential reason

When you hand delivery driver a 10 spot An pulls a face. An winges Thats 2nd electric shock I've had today.. Be quiet an deliver the food with a smile like decent drivers
I wouldn't even give this a 1 star!! Absolutely shocking! Hour wait for wrong food then a hour again for order to be completely wrong and half my order missing!! then I was told it was my fault!! Absolutely disgusting food!! Whoever thinks there food is nice clearly haven't tried many takeaways!! Wait time terrible!! Food disgusting!! Staff absolutely shocking and horribly rude!! Will never ever buy again!! Ruined my night!! Literally!! Scumbags
Sadly I wont be back, used to love this spot. but good staff are gone and new guys whilst may be good people just dont cut it. Theyve also massively upped their prices as of dec 2022 my fav meal which used to be £5 is now £6.50 now these guys dont pay tax as they accept cash only, so not only were they probably rinsing a fortune charging £5 theyre now charging £6.50 pocketing an extra £1.50 for a tiny pizza which is a ~27% increase yet inflation is around 10% on average. its now nearly cheaper to just go to a restuarant or a cheaper takeaway like the other pizza spots on high street of which there are many
Really tasty and good pizza, staff were super nice too. Will definitely be back to try other foods, thanks for the great service!
