The cafe was a huge disappointment. They have introduced a digital order system that is entirely unsuitable for the older customers. Ordering takes ages and is very difficult for most people. The food comes quickly because it's all precooked, dried out and without any taste or flavour. On the whole, this new system is awful.
My 78year old father went to the store and bought a 100 pound gift card. When he got home, he found the security code had been removed. He went straight back to the store and the manager point blank refused a refund or another gift card. He was told it was a third person issue. This is elder abuse! The crime took place on their property. Tesco just stole 100 pound from a pensioner!
Have been shopping at Tesco for over 20 years.. The only reason for this is that the store is much closer than all off it's rivals.The quality of the goods is OK as are the prices but over the years it has become a constant battle with there policy to make shopping there and not getting hoodwinked into paying more than is necessary to get the best value for money. One of there tactics that have been employed for a very long time is moving everything around to make sure that there customers
Wow! This must be one of the biggest Tesco stores I've visited. There's a huge range of products spread over 2 floors including a massive clothing department. There's all sorts of household stuff including electrical stuff. There's also a phone store, optician and a cafe. Loads of free parking and really handy being next to the A38 Devon expressway.
Very un caring staff. My poor daughter was crying for the toilet last night. They just didn't care. I understand there was a burst pipe so the toilet was closed, but they must have a staff toilet they could've let her use. Appalling behaviour, will never visit there again. After reading some of the other reviews, seems im not the only one unhappy. The staff need lessons in customer service and kindness to others!
Its been 3 years and Tesco apparently still haven't caught up with Asda and figured out how to stay open 24 hours, forcing ivybridge residents to consider a 22 mile trip to Asda with today's fuel prices, grew up around here and have fond memories of mid-night Tesco trips, did it so with mates so I could buy alcohol the minute I turned 18, no more of that I guess :-/
I was looking for a particular item and it wasn’t on the shelf, a member of staff was unable to locate an item for me so I continued my shopping trip and about 5 mins later Kelsey went out of her way to find me in the store to tell me they have actually found exactly what I’m looking for! This is the kind of service that makes somebody like Kelsey an amazing asset to the company! Thank you!
Customer service is a joke , there is no customer service , i was trying to find out if they have a beer in stock to avoid wasting fuel and my time but no chance phone was ringing 7 minutes and then tesco automated phone system hang up . what a joke
Went into the cafe today. Staff were very friendly and food was nice and a good price. The ONLY problem I have is having to read the bored behind the counter to order food. My mother couldn't see it and she wanted me to bring a menu. Alas I couldn't do I had to take a photo for her so she could see it. I have to admit it sort of puts pressure on you to order if ypu have a queue behind you. Instead of sitting at a table making a proper decision. Other than that. Enjoyed (please match ypur chairs!!! My OCD was going nuts!!)
Everything I ever need (with the exception of Drambuie) good prices but make sure you have a club card, really worth the savings. Friendly helpful staff and would highly recommend.
