   Fantastic branch of Lidl. We do shop at various stores but this one is bigger and did offer more products, being their own brand or the weekly Euro Country offers. We ended up spending triple of our intended shopping. They also boasts self check out, what other branches don't seem to have, and toilets! Hoorah. The only small detail is the parking time. Still 90 minutes, unlike bigger super stores like Tesco. This have spoiled our shopping experience as we had to rush out. After you have one of their "parking eye" fines, and you know how much hassle to process the removal of this fine and prove you actually was a customer, you stick to the time. Hey Lidl, how about changing that to 2 hours. Happy shoppers do return.

   Great shopping with interesting European foods. Italian, Spanish, French, you name it, they normally do it. Also they are currently the cheapest shop in the UK. I buy steak and salmon from here regually as its decent quality and at a good price. Just keep an eye on your use by dates when you buy as they can be shorter than the other mainstream supermarkets. It may be budget shopping, but the quality overall is as good if not better in some areas than the other main supermarkets.

   The new look store is very nice and well done. Check out service is often delayed, sometimes there are no checkout staff, with only the self service being manned. Possibly this is due to the store running with very tight staffing levels. Parking is usually ample at most times of the day. The parking spaces have recently been painted, which is great, as the different coloured paving tiles to mark out spaces are too similar to the normal parking tiles :( Staff are often friendly, but this can be hit and miss (presumably if they are often very busy?) - the younger staff seem to be the friendliest (or that could just be my experience)

   Attention Lidl GB Plymouth /Cothill ❗❗❗ I went to do shopping earlier around 15:23 (23.02.23 ) this afternoon to supposed to get a pork belly and onions but then we end up buying a full basket of groceries. Me and my daughter had a conversation which way we gonna pay either to the till or self check out but then we choose the latter. While on the till I've noticed this lady a staff of Lidl was standing behind us (she looks very suspicious to us )but then when I moved away because I was actually on the way and blocking it, it was me and Lily with the pushchair) she also moved to the middle ( i just shrugged it off thinking of course she was just doing her job ). So after we finished paying we ended up carrying this heavy stuff with us and we decided to put it in the pushchair and headed to the exit but before we can get out we've stop by the waiting area where the chairs are and start sorting out the groceries and tied it up to the pushchair because it nearly fell down. And then noticed there was a man went out and the alarm went off . So off we go but then we came out the alarm went off again and I was thinking that was stranged but before we can come out to the main door the security stop us and start asking our receipt!! Well my bad because I forgot where did i put it it was not in my pocket and then we start taking out our groceries and found it inside. He start checking it and he said its the chicken!! Yeah right!!! Ive been in Lidl many fu***ng times but it never beep no matter how many chicken we bought !!! I was never felt humiliated after this time everyone looking at us thinking we are a Theft!!! the security said he was just doing his job but to think the white guy who went before us there was an alarm and nobody stop him . I dont really mind if someone is checking us even if he has to go thru the receipt one by one if he also check that other guy.!! I just felt that it was so unfair that's because we are Asian he pick us !!!! I am really humiliated thinking about this !!! This is not fair !!! Lidl Plympton!!!

   Love a good Lidl shop after the school run, nice and quiet in the mornings, personal opinion they have the best tasting croissants at a very cheap price unlike other stores/shops charging £1.80 for ONE. Great variety of food and veg

   It was torture !!! As you walk into the door you are greeted with the most amazing smells of home baked bread, donuts and cakes. It was so hard not to buy everything they had even before you start your shop ...fantastic shop, always have shelves full and fantastic fresh food.

   A decent sized fairly new Lidl store. Has the advantage of toilets (although I would avoid at all costs as they are usually unclean and there is no window) and self check outs which I would also avoid where possible as it comes up with errors all the time and is usually manned by the person on the checkout.
