   I bought a takeaway...Mushroom Rice, curry source, veg mini rolls. Delivery was fast via deliveroo. Rice had NO Taste at all. Mini rolls had a perfume taste and curry source was not nice so I just put it all in the bin. Please change the menu or chef. Will never order from there again unless it changes. I basically burned £50.

   nice Chinese restaurant. lunch meal deal with Chinese tea is our favors. highly recommend roasted duck and roasted meat with crispy skin . no dim sum here. plenty of parking spaces. 5% discount if pay cash. highly recommended.

   We have dined at Charde Oriental on three occasions: once for takeaway, once for lunch, and most recently for a Lunar New Year dinner gathering. For the takeaway, we ordered roasted meats, which maintained their quality even after being brought home. The taste was quite good. During our lunch visit, we tried a lunch set and fresh seafood. The seafood was excellent, and although the price was slightly high, the quality made it worthwhile. However, the lunch set portions were a bit small, though still tasty. For the Lunar New Year gathering, we attended a "spring dinner" with 10 tables and around £2xx for each table (£2x for each person). While the dishes were served very quickly, the portions were disappointingly small—there wasn’t even enough char siu for everyone to have one piece. Although the flavours were decent, the lack of quantity left much to be desired; even as someone with a small appetite, they felt hungry afterward too. It would be great if they could improve portion sizes in the future.

   I've been twice and won't be going back. They first time there was a long black hair in the food wrapped around a skewer and we were enjoying the food up until that point. They knocked the drinks off the bill to compensate. They second time the starter platter was very dry overcooked and just warm like it was a couple of days old. The mains were hot but didn't taste very nice, tasted chemically for some reason. Staff were very slow and the place wasn't busy, had to wait ages for a replacement drink. On inspecting the cleanliness while we sat waiting for so long we saw that the table clothe under the top layer was very dirty along with the table like it hadn't been cleaned and washed for months. The carpets were very dirty too which was off putting to see when we first went in. Show less

   Went here last night for my wife’s birthday, we hadn’t booked and it was a bit last minute. The staff were very welcoming, pleasant and friendly. The food came very quickly and was delicious, I had the Beef Kung Po and my wife Vietnamese King Prawn. We wish we could have eaten more! The decor is very clean and well kept. We will definitely be back.

   Party of 4 people didn't have to wait long before shown to our table as the time we went it was quite.. had the set menu which I thought was value for money for what you got.. time inbetween courses again was just right didn't feel rushed. Staff was friendly yes I would go again food was very nice. Thank you
