   Great chippy highly recommend. The staff clearly have a great relationship and enjoy their job. Fantastic warm service that brings a smile to face no matter your mood. They even customised an international favourite dish of mine poutine, with complimentary battered bits, that really was the icing on the cake for me. Great banter, great food, best service I’ve experienced in England so far. Keep it up team!

   After having a week of not feeling good my appetite returned today. So, I chose to go to Burton joyce chip shop after reading rave reviews. Massively disappointed isn't the words. The cod was that thin it was like it had been run over. I thought as I had ordered two cod they had forgot one ,but noooo there were two in one box. The chips were pale soggy and all stuck together. They had rolled the mushy peas and curry sauce up in paper and layed them flat instead of upright so when I opened them the lids came off. I have just read on their Facebook page the old owner left at the end of October. What a shame. This was my first and last visit to this chippy. Back to what I know next time !!!

   What a con, The fish was manky, the worst fish I’ve ever had, see the pictures, keep away it cost £15 for 2 gone off fish & a portion of chips, IF I TOOK THE FISH TO TRADING STANDARDS THEY WOULD SHUT THEM DOWN, WOULDNT TRUST THEM NOW, The kababs looked ok on the stake!!! But Whoes to say there not fresh like the fish,
