Me & my family went after a funeral yesterday to try to cheer ourselfs up a bit. The food was nice enough although a little bit expensive. The toilets weren’t great but the service was vile & spoiled the whole evening. An Ederle lady serving was very blunt but the bald waiter was one of the rudest people we had ever met. Really uncalled for rudeness

A group of us went for lunch this week. The staff were friendly and attentive, and had a great sense of humour, which made us feel very relaxed. The meal was delicious. A lot of options on the lunch menu, and great value for 3 courses and coffee, tea or Chinese tea. Between us, we had a good variety of starters, mains and sweets and everyone enjoyed their meal. We can all heartily recommend Mr Man'swill definitely be back.

The food was awful—completely tasteless, bland, and £15 for a bowl of egg fried rice is absolutely extortionate (see photo of the larger bowl). The service was quick, but the food arrived 10 minutes after ordering and did not taste freshly cooked. It wasn’t hot either, almost like it had been microwaved. The crispy seaweed was the worst we've ever had. We left feeling frustrated, disappointed, and honestly, robbed. Definitely won’t be returning. Our local takeaway is far better than this restaurant.

It was our first time here at MR.MANNS , and all the staff made you feel very welcome . The service was very good, the food was delicious and there was loads of dishes to choose from , the restaurant is run very well and very organised . We will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend it to family and friends . Keep up the good work.

Amazing Chinese restaurant in Wolaton Park. Especially good for groups of 6 or more with the setup of large round tables with a large lazy Susan, which works really well for sharing. A really special atmosphere and setup. It's expensive, but I think it's still good value. Excellent starters through to mains.

Two of us came here for a birthday celebration. 1st time here for me. Really enjoyed the set lunch (with a couple of extras, I recommend the Chinese vegetables with garlic). Good amount of quality food on set menu & is great value. Exras are a bit pricey.....Lovely food, great service! The only reason I only gave 3 stars for atmosphere is because the place was quite empty- not their fault though. Good value, fabulous lunch ! Many thanks.

We were advised to book a table for a Sunday evening, told we had 2 hrs at that table and we asked for a £5 non refundable deposit. The restaurant was virtually empty all night, perhaps half a dozen tables at max were occupied. The food was delicious, arriving quickly, all 8 diners didn't have to wait very long at all. However, we were watched all the time whilst dining, waiters hovering around our table, to the point where one of the waiters actually interrupted a private conversation between myself and a friend and added his opinions advising us not to dine at another Chinese restaurant?!?!! The moment we stopped eating the table was being cleared, we felt rushed and uncomfortable...we didn't have extra drinks because we felt rushed, we didn't have deserts because we were mindful of the 2hr rule and frankly weren't asked !!??

First time visit and I will come back. I can't fault the standard of food, table service and the decor and atmosphere of the place. A little expensive but what the heck every now and then

Originally wasn't going to have a Chinese meal, but after reading the reviews I decided to give it a try, and in all honesty I'm glad I did, the food came piping hot and you could tell it was cooled fresh, the satay chicken sticks were absolutely gorgeous, they were fresh and juicy, normally when you order Chinese it's cooked twice, then for the second course I had lemon chicken with egg fried rice, I personally have never had lemon chicken but I really enjoyed it, it's chicken breast with batter and a light sugar coating, the sauce was like almost a thinned lemon curd sauce, it complemented it very well. The staff were very friendly and very polite, the restaurant was very well laid out and very well presented, the only thing I didn't like was the tables had a clear plastic sheet on them with a paper napkin on top, it's almost as if they think we're animals and make loads of mess. Other than that I would recommend this place for a nice celebratory meal.
