My wife recommended CafΓ© Roya after visiting recently with friends, and Iβm glad she did. We had a brilliant evening. Food: We started with the bread and olives, which set the tone nicely. The hummus was excellent, the olives were huge and full of flavour, and the warm focaccia was spot on. The dukkah had a slight Bombay-mix feel β unexpected, but it worked. I went for the paratha lasagne: an unusual idea, but genuinely impressive. Great flavours, a gentle heat, and far more cohesive than I expected. My wife chose the winter pie and said it was βexactly what I was looking forβ, which tells you everything. For dessert, I picked the pavlova. I briefly envied my friendβs chocolate ganache tart when it arrived, but that disappeared as soon as I got into mine. Excellent choice. Drinks: A well-curated list with organic beers, organic cocktails, and wines that kept the wine drinkers happy. Staff: Everyone we met was friendly, attentive, and relaxed β helpful without hovering. A great visit all round. Would happily return.

The most fabulous, tasty and varied lunch in the area! The menu changes every week and the 5 salads are always fabulous. I travel 45 minutes to eat here. Itβs fab!

A wonderful gem in beeston. The menu always changes monthly and there are regular specials. Lovely staff, fantastic food, and a good price. Cannot recommend going here enough, especially for the delicious coconut truffles that come with your receipts!

Lovely vegetarian only restaurant, service was impeccable. The menu changes every month so we're excited to go back soon! A hidden gem out of the main Beeston town centre, it feels like a small friendly business which is thriving. We had cauliflower tacos, cream spinach, mushroom korma (from the specials) and paella with the grillo white wine. All of this was delicious, with a superb mix of delicate flavours throughout. The food was nicely varied, there were different sauces and components with a good mix of flavours, particularly in both of the mains. The staff were also bubbly and very helpful which was refreshing.

Fabulous little venue with tasty food and friendly staff. Thoroughly enjoyed my visit to cafe roya, it was my sisterβs birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make her feel special. Really appreciate small venues like this that have staff who make you feel welcome and comfortable in their restaurant. All dishes were super fresh and tasty making me want to come back for more and work my way through the menu. Along with their brilliant staff and food they make stunning cocktails which again , you canβt stop at just the one! Canβt wait to visit again, very tempted by the sound of the lunch menus!

Stunning restaurant, fantastic food, beautiful surroundings, wonderful service, charming and diverse clientele, clearely attracts the more discerning foodies. Only thing I would say, is the front door needs improvement, it doesn't shut or open properly, and unfortunately some unpleasant youths barged in and insulted my husband while we were there dining. Despite this upsetting incident, I still want to give 5 stars, to Roya, as this was not the restaurants fault, but repairs, a better designed door, and a careful outdoor enclosure, or some other design would have prevented this from happening.

First of all, I am not a vegetarian, my wife is, I do however eat much of what my wife enjoys. We visited Cafe Roya to try a specific vegetarian menu, something different to our normal venue. Wow, the food was amazing, so tasty, well presented and nice atmosphere. I would definitely recommend trying this place, you won't be disappointed. As Arnie said "I'll be back"
