   First time using Happy Phoenix, was unsure at first, had meal for 1, absolutely delicious, saved half... Tea sorted for tomorrow. Staff and owner very friendly, good quality food, and will be back next Tuesday

   Placed an order shortly after 6pm didnt received order till 8pm. I expect food may of been nice if it was actually hot, however chips were cold, chicken chow mein was cold. Not worth paying the high delivery charge to not have food for 2hours! We called at 7.10 and was told on the way, then called again at 7.40 which was met with apologies but no reason for the delay and was definetly no traffic and the journey should of only taken 10 mins. Disappointed.

   Ordered from here many, many times. Every time, without fail, the food is late, but we've kept ordering because the food is really good. Unfortunately, once again, the food is late, and customer service on the phone is very poor. I think this is now the last time we're ordering from here. Such a shame considering our years of custom.

   Wouldn’t even give one star if that was an option. Cannot comment on food as it arrived nearly 2 hours late so I turned it down as it was cold. Rang having to chase my order to say it was on it was after waiting 1 hour 10 mins and then having to ring back again another 20 mins later and they said they would ring to find out where the driver was… got a call back to say the driver was on my street still took another 10 mins for him to turn up saying he’d only just left and the restaurant were lying that he’d been left ages ago yet the food was luke warm. Took until the 3rd call for an apology. I would not recommend at all and definitely will not be returning. Fully ruined my evening!!!!

   Ordered from here as my usual local was closed. Unfortunately, my order took 1.5 hrs despite an original estimation of 15-35 minutes. The food was hot, but seemed to consist a lot of cheap frozen items that were nothing special and the Chow mein was very bland with little chicken in. I also ordered duck spring rolls which they called me to say they didn't have any although I got a cheaper alternative, there was no offer of a refund for the difference. The delivery driver then tried three doors before mine and then just waited at the end of the path and held the food out for me to come and get from him instead of coming to my door. Sadly, I won't be ordering again any time soon.

   Had a take out special curry which was luke warm with hardly any mixed meats in it mainly mushrooms and onion. Very thick strong sauce. Poor value given the price

   Used this place for 15 years never had a bad one untill tonight. Funny how one meal can stop you ever using a place again especially after the reviews saying it's been taken over. Feel sorry for the original owners who have had their reputation ruined within months Beef Curry was awfull totally inedible, duck was terrible the rest was just poor. Even the prawn crackers were stale!!! Shame

   I had the most amazing takewways last Friday and again last nite. Very good choice. The food was of a very high quality and very hot on arrival both times. It was that good there was nothing left for the next day. Well done to the owner for serving such fantastic food and to all her staff especially June for her superb telephone manner and to our lovely delivery lady who was also very polite and pleasant. I strongly recommend that everyone tries ones of happy phoenix's lovely meals. Credit goes to the owner and her staff
