    Went to buy fish and chips for the family on 3/4/25 waited patiently as someone in the queue ordered big order we was next someone came in who they new blanked us and served them very rude we will not be going back disappointing we certainly walked out to buy a pizza next door

    We travel 3 miles to get there and have always been happy. , but not tonight. We had 2 small fish and chips. Chips ok, but the fish had almost disappeared inside the oily batter. Crispy fish is not what we expected. Sorry but no more chances.

    Moved to Sawley three years ago and the service from the guys in the chippy is excellent. The food isn't necessarily anything to write home about, but both guys are very friendly, as is the woman who works there.

    Food very average. Price £8.20 chips peas gravy and small sausages. Think they make the prices up as they go along. First and last time for me.

    Went in the chippy the signs weren’t amazing prices weren’t worded correctly didn't accept card made me get £10 out cash point for the chips to be under cooked and the fish to be bland waste of £8.80 would not recommend to the light hearted

    Asked for 2 small chips and curry sauce ....£7.40 Admitting they were huge portions ...I think this is over priced . I asked for small for a reason because my hubby can only eat small meals. Lady who served me was miserable too .no service with a smile I shall not use again il stick to my normal chip shop which was cheaper and better quality food

    If your hungry and you want Quality this is the place to go and i am talking a on a 5 to 6 mile radius ..fresh everytime 100 %. Family favourite. Forget the kebab house next door this is the place

    Great friendly staff, fish chips or whatever the multitude of other items on the menu chosen is always great tasting and properly cooked. The batter on the fish is gorgeous never too greasy and very very tasty. Best chip shop in the Midlands
