After our local shop closed, we tried several places in search of a good Fish and Chips. Without question, this one stands out, it’s the best Fish and Chips we’ve had in years. Perfectly cooked, generous portions, and full of flavour. Highly recommended!!!
I have been a mystery shopper for over 20 years and I can confirm this is in my top five of all the chip shops I’ve visited. I have travelled all over the Uk as high as Oban 400 miles testing out for a well known chip shop chain. I never have bought a meal apart from here where I spend my own money. Fantastic and worth travelling to.
Excellent fish and chips. The service was quick and very friendly. The high rating is well deserved. The place looks very clean. The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. Highly recommended if you're in the area and want to eat good fish and chips.
Tried this chippy during a Friday lunchtime as I was collecting chips for colleagues at work. First thing to say the manager chap was really friendly. Took my order relatively quickly and were reasonably priced compared to say George’s or other local chippies. I’ve think to point out is the chip portions are massive compared to others. I ordered large chips and that fed 3 of us! The fish bites I ordered were tasty and fresh. Only weird thing was the colour of the mushy peas - very green! Otherwise I would recommend.
Not been to sandiacre fish bar for so long, however it never fails to please. Very welcoming and great customer service from Ange and Demi and the food was amazing would definitely recommend the scampi and the halloumi fries both come with salad if your trying to have a cheeky treat guilt free.
Very poor service I waited in a que 6 minutes when asked they replied waiting on chips I said I don't want chips just fish which was there .they all just waited for the chips .waited another 2 minutes gave up Organisation non existent
This is my new favourite chippy! Delighted to finally find a proper good fish and chip shop since moving to Nottingham. Friendly staff and brilliant, hot food!

Friendly service. Nice chips, nice mini-fish. Rock-hard sausage in batter and weird-tasting fishcake. Usually excellent, but fell a bit short on our Tuesday night visit.
