Gorgeous food as normal. I cannot recommend the food highly enough. Our server, Emilia (Nottingham), was great - very knowledgeable!

Disappointed. Very Expensive. For Very Little. Like an Indian version of a Spanish tapas. Enviroment was warm and pretty, staff were friendly and helpful, food was GROSSLY overpriced was recommended the yoghurt chat bombs a promise of: The heart of Mowgli, a real favour explosion Crisp puff breads filled with chickpeas, spiced yoghurt, tamarind corionder & topped with pomegranate seeds, I just got a mouthful of cheap yoghurt no chickpeas maybe 2 pomegranate seeds on top. We were told to pop a whole one in your mouth as they could be messy otherwise, so we did and all we got was a mouthful of cheap tasting cold yoghurt, was disgusting, however I thought these are things for trying right?!?! So I thought all is not lost I will look forward to the Mowgli Chicken Biryani One pot wonder. Delicately spiced golden rice with tender aromatic curried chicken, finished with ghee for luxurious richness. Served with mini poppadoms & a yoghurt dip One pot wonder Indeed, wonder where the curry was Β£15.00 for a pot of rice basically I scraped most of the rice off to try and find the curry and you have to dig deep to find a few scraps of dry overcooked chicken. Tasteless mini poppadoms and another little pot of the cheap yoghurt. Our trip to Nottingham was fabulous and the last evening we had pre booked Mowgli a couple of weeks in advance and we were looking forward to it, but I have to say it wasn’t for me, wasn’t authentic Indian food, from my perspective. It’s a bit like when you see a picture of a McDonald’s Big Mac and when you get the Big Mac it’s nothing like the picture. Tasted cheap. Overpriced.the brand pulls you in to be disappointed with the food, my son enjoyed his food and yes he had about 4 dishes to satisfy his hunger, mostly meat based. Being a good cook myself you count up the cost of what the ingredients would cost and I truly believe it’s a rip off, looks nothing like the pictures on the website.you can see from the photo how much rice there was, I paid the service charge also the donation to the charity, with no qualms, I just won’t be back.

We came here as a birthday treat and thought the food was delicious. Our server was polite and attentive and we did not feel rushed. There were steps down at the entrance we went in. However, I think there was a street level entrance. The toilets were up two flights of stairs.

Personally, I will not recommend this place if you are looking for good Indian food. It was my wife's birthday and we decided to go to Mowgli Nottingham but it was a complete waste of money. Every single order was tasteless. We ordered kids' gunpowder chicken it was very chewy and overcooked ( almost burnt), the roti was overcooked and it was crispy like popodum, Puri was over-fried. The House lamb dish was tasteless, and there were hardly any lamb pieces, it was just like a lamb paste. The sticky chicken was a bit better but still quite chewy.

Mowgli's is amazing! It was my first time visiting but the staff were so nice and helpful. The food was incredible! There was much to choose from and it all looked and tasted amazing. The atmosphere is great and the restaurant was so pretty. You can get a starter, main, side, drinks and dessert for about Β£35 quid which is fantastic as everything is delicious and worth every penny Our whole group is so excited to visit again soon.

Popped in here unplanned for a weekend lunch. Atmosphere was good and front of house staff were friendly if a bit rushed. Their menu sounded exciting and imaginative, so we had high hopes, but the items we ordered were all quite disappointing (some arrived lukewarm and soggy, taste was bland and over sweet). Embarrassingly, the table next to us asked their waitress about a menu item and the explanation was completely wrong - tamarind was a key named ingredient in the dish and they clearly had no idea what it was. I feel like the ideas, design and menu creation behind Mowgli was excellent, but the execution (here at least) is way beneath the vision. Wouldn't go back - there are plenty of better options for this kind of small plates type food.
