   What an absolute gem of a place! We had stumbled upon this restaurant almost by accident, hungry and trying to avoid motorway traffic. Every element of every dish was clearly made with such care, precision, and quality ingredients; even the salad garnish was gourmet. The staff were very accommodating and attentive, and did I mention the food was superb?? Make sure you don't pass this place by if you're also in or around Castle Donington.

   Tried Orissa on a Friday evening and have to say it was a good experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming - even though we booked a table 30mins before we turned up! You’ll need to register your car for parking with the restaurant. Starter menu was varied and offered a good choice. Starter was well presented and tasty. Main menu was also very good and varied - good sized portions for price. Didn’t see dessert menu or offered one so I assume they don’t do desserts- not a problem for me as I’m not a dessert fan.

   My friend and I went to Orissa for the first time this evening. We were greeted with friendly smiles and shown to our table. The staff were attentive and our food came out at a good time. The food itself… absolutely beautiful!! The flavour profiles in each dish were delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. The portions are really good sizes, we couldn’t finish our meals and bought the rest home with us. The price is good value and we’ll be definitely going back again. Thank you for a lovely evening.

   Excellent dining experience here last night, we went for a friend's birthday meal. They made it feel extra special. The staff were very friendly and attentive. the food was very tasty, beautiful flavours, food cooked very well and to top it off beautifully presented, you can tell they care about what they do. First time here, but definitely won't be our last, looking forward to the next visit, keep up the good work gents!

   Exceptional food made to a very high standard, the service is very attentive and staff check on you regularly to see if you need any assistance, they also provide you great recommendations depending on your taste palate. If your looking for a top class Indian fine dining experience then look no further as Orissa is the place to be. I will be definitely returning to get another fix of their delicious cuisine. To confirm I've been back another several times since this review must have tried most of the starters and mains.

   Absolutely delighted to find this wonderful restaurant. Seriously delicious food. We ordered a selection of dishes. Everything was fragrant super fresh hot and full of flavour. The meat was superb. We had lamb and chicken and king prawns. I highly recommend the honey chilli dish with lamb. Definitely will go back there. Nothing to compare to this in Oxford.
