   Bought online from them and got right royally messed about. Their sizing is all over the place bought an XL Wax jacket that corresponded to XXL. I certainly didn't expect to pay for return postage. I sent an email that was ignored and so were follow up phone calls. No acknowledgment was given that the return had been received even though tracking proved it had been. Apparently the person who dealt with it was off sick and a backlog had built up. Finally, after many days waiting I heard from them in what was a terse email blaming me for their awful customer service. Gaslighting in the extreme. In the meantime I'd ordered a large which they refused to honour and sent me really nasty abusive emails. Thus far they have kept the money for two wax jackets and I'm still awaiting funds to appear in my account. This company couldn't care less about customer service and I've had to take the case up with Citizens Advice. Avoid them .

   Dropped in the Factory Shop the other week and treated myself to some factory samples from the Clearance rails. Superb quality and nice knowing it's Made in England. Have previously purchased via the website and always had speedy delivery - wanted to visit the Shop to see the samples and enquire (successfully!) about rewaxing!

   Took a little detour and dropped in today while passing by - I'm very glad to have done so! The staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful, not only giving me ample assistance while I was dithering deciding what to get but also happy to chat about the factory and how it operates - I even got to have a little peek behind the scenes. Just from the brief interactions there you can see the sense of community and the pride taken in what they produce. Definitely worth visiting - especially as there's in-shop discounts which more than make up for any travel costs to get there :D

   What a wonderful experience we had today; visiting the John Partridge factory shop. 24 years ago we bought a jacket and it’s still giving wonderful service and looking great. We spent a good hour talking to the delightful Kim, so knowledgeable and passionate about the product, materials and employee/supplier ethics. The shop is small, but packed with gorgeous items to suit everyone, including dogs! We couldn’t recommend this for a visit more highly. And our dog Tilly loved it too :-)

   Visited the factory shop for the first time yesterday. Very impressed by the showroom and advice and assistance given by Kim. Found just the Waxed Jacket for me with Kim’s help. Excellent quality and very competitive price. Nice touch was label showing names of those who designed and manufactured the jacket. All set for winter now! Steve

   We recently popped into this shop at the marina, where a lovely bubbly blonde hair lady helped us to get my husband a new jacket. Even though it was a week day and the weather was wet and cold we had such a warm welcome by this lovely lady that we will be back and will recommend to our family and friends, nothing was a problem and we were really impressed with the quality of the clothing, nice to see British made products, we will be back soon.
