There a particularly unhelpful black hair girl at the mens/kids section. Always looks unwelcoming. The lift in this store is a hazard operationsally and it stinks also (wet musky) Store seem organised, new stock regularly and the music selection in there is banging.
my mother went to this store today to buy a pair of jeans, she briefly opened her bag to check the time on her phone as she was due to be at an appointment, following this she had a member of staff tail her and follow her around keeping an eye on her, i suspect she assumed my mother was a shoplifter, the staff member then proceeded to stand at the entrance of the shop with arms crossed in preparation as if she were to be ready to confront my mother who was there to buy, and did buy, a pair of jeans. uncomfortable experience for her, disgusting behaviour.
The shop looks good, changing rooms are cool, good selection of items, the staff are busy changing stock etc....but.... they are so surly, surely a smile wouldn't hurt. It would have killed any and every one I had any interaction with to be pleasant, such an effort for them. Shame really.
Visited shop in Wolverhampton find there clothes reli nice n good quality but I do find the staff n management not very helpful n quite rude apart from one of the young lady’s who was a member of floor staff very helpful polite n made my shopping experience there nice I did ask her name if I’m rite I think she said it was shirley she as long dark hair n didn’t think twice when asked for her advice on item I liked Wolverhampton river island this young woman is a credit to your store hope to see her next time I visit thankyou shirley for making my shopping day lovely
This is one of my favourite shops, Its stylish and trendy, smart stuff, Lovely bags, purses, boots etc I always find something to buy here! Not enough staff, on tills sometimes .
I have no bad things to say about river island, its one of my fave shops to go to always. Their clothing is beautiful. I'm being dramatic, but when I am able to get some things from river island. I get v happy like I've just eaten idk super rare ice cream with biscotti or something. Staff are nice as always. Windows always look great and mannequins too.
Not a massive shop. Always seems empty in there, not sure if its the lay out. Not a massive selection on clothes, but they do tend to stock well more on jeans, bags/shoes and accessorys. Staff seem pleasant enough, just seems to be a lack of atmosphere. I can't recall if they play music or not, if they dont, introducing it may possibly help. I think the layout would benefit from an overhaul.
Went in this store today and bought a lovely black T-shirt in the sale, pleasant girl on till nice store, some beautiful bags and purses!! Also purchased a nice pair of earrings.
Brilliant shop!! Brought a beautiful bag purse and scarf prices are fantastic, they look so much more expensive than what i paid for im in so much love with them.. will highly recommend Wolverhampton Riverisland the staff are fantastic and very helpful always have staff on till and the floor to make sure customers are happy. Will 150% be returning here. Thanks
