Birthday treat before the Pavillions. Nice atmosphere and pleasant staff. No diet coke and full fat tasted suspect. Don't keep J2o, so 0% lager and elderflower bubbly. Burger had no real flavour but salad and ketchup helped. Madam opted for Pan fried Hake which was described as dry. Ice cream was ok so I'm told. This is one of those places we have been but won't be rushing back.

We were staying at the hotel so thought we would try it out, have tried before when watching a show but couldnβt get a table. Was quite quiet when we came but the staff were very friendly and welcoming - the venue is nicely appointed with a relaxed atmosphere The menu is very well priced and the food was tasty, we had the steak and it was excellent! One of the best I have had in a long time Would recommend, will return

A little disappointing. We were directed to a table that hadn't been cleared after the previous diners. There were still crumbs and a random fork on it. No one made any attempt to clear them. New cutlery was just dumped in a pile. I ordered a diet coke. Thought it tasted a bit odd; the receipt revealed it was actually pepsi. Food was variable across our orders. Worst was the chicken burger that was just a piece of chicken in a dry bun - no sauces, salad or anything else to provide any moisture.

I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the moment I sat down, the service was so bad that I felt uncomfortable, almost like I was being attacked just for being there. The waiterβs attitude was dismissive and unwelcomingβpossibly even racist, though I can't be sure. When my chicken burger arrived, it was incredibly dry, with nothing more than a plain bun and a sad piece of chicken breast. When I politely asked for some sauce, the waiter responded with a rude tone. I mean, either smile or quit your job. Food and service would get zero if I could. If you're looking for good food and a welcoming atmosphere, I strongly suggest you avoid this place. There are far better options in the area where you can actually enjoy your meal and feel respected as a customer.

Superb service with polite and friendly staff. Good menu options available including vegetarian. Option taken was the 10oz steak which was cooked as ordered and served with a selection of salad and fries. Very tasty. Dessert was white chocolate cheesecake with vanilla ice cream which also was delicious. Well worth the visit

A real find. Went to Plymouth to watch Jason Manford and Steve's Brasserie was next door to Plymouth Pavilions and was excellent. Next time we're in Plymouth, we will be certainly return here.
