Unfortunately this store will be closing Saturday 27 September 2025, after 129 years on the high street. I hope a new location is found soon!
Went to have a bra fitting for myself and my daughter on Sunday 21st September. We were seen by Carolyn, absolutely pleasure! She was polite, helpful and very knowledgeable, so sorry to see the store closing this week and losing such experienced staff members! X
I made a rare visit to M&S in Wolverhampton. ( Friday, September 5th 8.30am ) to spend a gift voucher. The young man on the self scan was very polite and helpful. It's a real shame that this store is closing permanently later this month. I've heard M&S are planning to open a food store at a new site in Wolverhampton soon. I hope so. The store in Dudley Street Wolverhampton will be missed.
Awful customer service. Despite the M&S website stating you don’t always need a bra fitting appointment - you are more than welcome to drop in! I was told on arrival today at a quiet period - 10.00am, that I could not be measured without an appointment. The lady in question who apparently fits the bra’s was rude and abrupt as was the lady who I initially spoke to that took me over to member of staff that does the fitting!She may well of been a manger as she wore a headset! I found them to be extremely unhelpful, and dismissive, which is shocking considering they work in retail. I was told as it’s such a small store they only see appointments!? The M&S in Wolverhampton city centre certainly isn’t a small store! Ridiculous to be honest. They lost out on sales as if I had been fitted I would then of obviously gone on to purchase new bra’s!!! I can safely so I would not step foot in that store again
Although, the staff, overall, give a good service, most odlf the times, the standard of the Cafe service and preparation of some of the foods is not always up to the standard I've become used to receiving from M&S. Also the time when the kitchen stops serving food is different depending on who you ask. Today's service and food were particularly poor - the smoked ham and cheese toasty was soggy and looked nothing like what was advertised.
Like the food hall can't fine any staff when you need them when i finally find someone they were very helpful and polite
Absolute shocker, dishwasher still not repaired, disgrace. Therefore 2 teas served in paper cups, shoddy, one sandwich also put the total at £9:50, you won't be catching me again. And don't start my partner on the state of the ladies toilets. All I all in poor show for a great British institution.
I use M&S regularly! It's my" go to" store! Value for money and quality... Excellent offers ..... Above all very helpful staff! Sadly more staff needed!!!
Visited M&S Wolverhampton today, for Christmas presents, came away after buying what I wanted. Staff are very helpful and friendly. My only concern is that when later going back to the cafe yet again there was a long queue. It seems not enough staff are working in the cafe. Most times you have one person on the tills who has to take order and payment and make the drinks. Which makes for a very long time in the queue.
