   Found accidentally on our way home. The staff are exceptional, by far the best customer service I’ve had for a long time. Nothing was too much trouble. It’s a lovely, clean, inviting cafe. Their cakes and desserts looked delicious!

   An old truck driving haunt from 35 years ago, the place has changed a bit but certainly for the better. Staff were polite, food arrived quickly. I had ham, egg and chips, very good it was too. With a cup of tea was just over £8, which I thought to be very reasonable. Weather outside was cold bit the café was warm.

   Great Sunday carvery. Wonderfully tasty food with more than ample portions. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Once I commented my love of gravy, a gravy boat appeared at the table in addition to what I'd already poured on the plate. That was a lovely thought.

   First time visiting this establishment. But not the last. Really fancied a roast dinner, wow it was amazing. All cooked fresh great choices. Would I recommend it? Most definitely. Will I go again? can't wait to go again. Really good value for money very attentive staff.

   Lovely place to eat, attentive staff and amazing array of options including portions for smaller appetites which was great. I had the hunters chicken which was delicious. Those I went with had different food and they were all impressed with it. I want to come back for a roast next time!

   Five of us ate here today. All of us thought the food was excellent, and we all had different meals from a large breakfast to lasagne, scampi to burger with goats cheese and a carvery. A few also had some home made Baileys cheesecake too and that was also excellent. The portion sizes were also very good (the pics show a small portion scampi) and we all left stuffed and happy. The bill was £60 for 5 mains and 3 desserts (not including drinks) ...great value too. Highly recommended.
