I was here for my 50th birthday, the service was amazing and our waiter Thai was so sweet and very attentive. Food was amazing and they made sure my birthday was special
The staff were polite and well mannered. I had the Pad See Ew which was a vegetarian noodle dish and they were very accommodating to change my noodles from egg noodles to rice noodles. The vegetables inside were also very well cooked and soft as well.
We had a lovely meal here at Thai orchid, the food was fresh and delicious and the servers were really nice and friendly. We had one of the set meals between the 2 of us, so you do pay around £45 each, but it was so good and you end up with 7 courses and tea at the end. We don't live in Exeter, but will definitely come back on our next visit.
Third time here and never disappoints, food is amazing!! Place to go if you’re looking for a nice hearty meal. Staff is very friendly. Recommend trying one of their green or red curries. Will definitely be back :)
The food was outstanding, some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had!! Highly recommend it. The staff were equally friendly and efficient, food came out fast and clean! If you want a good spot for food look no further

Absolutely delicious! We worked extremely late and hadn’t eaten all day. Whether or not this added to our delight at this meal I don’t know but - what a meal. Tasty piping hot fresh produce beautifully cooked. Delicious spring rolls were of note as was the egg noodle dish We picked maybe seven dishes at speed as it was late and none disappointed. I will absolutely go again - best take out I’ve had in many years.
The Thai Orchid has been around for 30 years. I went there for my 21st Birthday and was amazed by the food. The quality has remained consistently good throughout the years with authentic dishes from a Thai chef. The set meals are excellent and showcase very well the extensive menu. We often go for set meal J which includes some very spicy food, of note the Thai Spicy sausage which tasted incredible and is very hot, just as we like it! Service is great and the wine list well matching Thai food.
Excellent food and service. I was very pleased with the starter, the presentation was beautiful and I particularly loved the fishcakes, which were made from scratch and tasted exactly like it would in Thailand, I can't say the same about many other Thai restaurants I've been to. I asked for guaydiel, which is noodle in clear soup (there's different types) but it's a very popular soup among the Thai's in Thailand, I felt like I was in Thailand again and that's what it should be about! The food was authentic (by the way, it really depends on the chef) there's nothing worse than when dishes are westernised, thank you chef/s for keeping it authentic!
