Start of by saying GREAT ESPERANCE, Erin was are server with another young lady, Came to the door no reservation was told 1 hour but would take my number and let me know when the table was ready. This place was highly recommended by a friend. 15 mins later I received a text table was ready, great seat great atmosphere and even better service, food being prepared in full view so fresh and tasty, i cant explain how much people need to go here, I had the mixed grill with flat bread and wings my partner shared a chicken wrap, the wrap dont sound much but came with salad, hummus and we got extra chips, all quality. THIS PLACE IS A MUST.

Stumbled upon an unexpected delight in the back of a shopping centre. Really spacious, nicely decorated in a Middle Eastern style with Middle Eastern music playing. Service staff very smiley, friendly and helpful. Fantastic choice of meals. Reasonably busy for a Tuesday lunchtime with a very mixed crowd. We chose the fattoush, lamb kibbeh and chicken tawouk main. Perfect portion sizes, exquisitely flavoured, even the carafe of tap water was flavoured with a large sprig of mint. Food arrived promptly and was well cooked and hot. Highly recommend, hope we get the chance to go again. Best authentic Lebanese food I’ve had in the UK!

I went with a friend arriving at about 5pm. The restaurant was quiet when we got there but was filling up. I had a house white wine, Lebanese wine, who knew?! it was good! We shared a hummus, flat bread, chicken shawarma bowl and lamb kofta grill and it was delicious! Service was excellent, lovely decor and lighting and we had a really lovely meal. Special thanks to Jash who was so helpful and friendly and really made the meal a lovely experience for the two of us. Really recommend!

What an incredible dining experience at Comptoir Libanais Exeter! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with fresh, vibrant ingredients that made every bite a delight. The service was impressively fast, yet the quality never faltered. A special shoutout to our wonderful female waitress, whose name we didn’t catch, but her warm smile and attentive demeanor truly elevated our visit. She made us feel so welcome throughout! Highly recommend this gem for anyone craving authentic, flavorful Lebanese cuisine. We’ll definitely be back!

1st time here and Kamal & Juila are very welcoming & friendly. Atmosphere is brilliant. Very large restaurant. Food is very tasty. As its in the town centre parking can be a little far would recommend the Guildhall Shopping Centre or there are a few open car parks dotted around. Thank you all for an amazing night.

It's a gorgeous restaurant, appealing design and pretty decorated. Foods were delicious except the Falafel which were so dry and they didn't seem fresh. The only problem is the time gap between serving mezze and the main course is too much and makes you starve.

Comptoir Libanais - Exeter Rating 4.3/5 Remember if you work for NHS you get a 25% discount I have been to this place too many times, and it never disappoints me * Mezze Platter for two - £21.95 : 8/10 * Mixed Grill - £16.50 : 9/10 * Spiced Chicken Kofta - £13.95 : 8/10 * Lamb and Halloumi burger - £13.50 : 8.5/10 * Spiced Chicken Man’ousha -£10.95 : 6/10 Starter -Mezze Platter for two A full flavour with pitta bread, hummus, cheese samboussek, quinoa tabbouleh, falafel etc., made my mouth watering even before I started eating it. The best piece of this art is the hot falafel. The mezze is sufficient enough for 5 people to share before having a heavy main Mains: Mixed Grill I tried the mixed grill as I always like a mix of chicken kofta, lamb kofta and chicken taouk, and it was full filing. The meat was cooked well with a juicy texture a full of flavour that dissolves in your mouth when you eat it. The rice did go well with the two sauces, but the salad was a bit bitter for me. I tried the other mains and found the lamb burger to be the next best thing that we ordered, where the burger was juicy, and the fries provided tasted fresh. The chicken kofta was nice too, but man’ousha was the least favourite, and the crust was slightly burned, and I didn’t feel it was value for money to order again. We also ordered a few beers; they were nice, but the fresh rose mint tea was disappointing. I wished the tea would have had a bit more minty taste! Overall the food was amazing, the ambience was fantastic and excellent customer service. Also, you can now download their app and get a £5.00 credit if you place an order through the app.
