We hadn’t booked but we were welcomed and enjoyed very tasty food, a trio of curries and a Goan fish curry, pashwsri naan and garlic naan and rice all excellent. We will definitely return

Sunny Spice is better than it has any right to be. I’m ashamed to say my expectations were relatively low (having tried many sub-par Indian restaurants in small towns), however there is absolutely nothing to fault here. It’s South Indian so definitely go for the ‘specialities’ (dosas, spicy beef, chicken chettinadu, etc) rather than the ‘old favourites’. Does the job well.

Collected food for a party of five, last night. The food was being cooked and packed as I arrived. The guy who served me was friendly and polite. The food was really tasty and well cooked and I was so happy that I wasn't left with a mountain of plastic cartons either. Full marks for delightfully spiced food and thoughtful packaging.

Ordered takeaway hence the 3*.outstanding food. Obvious they focus on flavour over spice. Outstanding food. Highly recommend. It’s on the main street of Fowey, so not for the faint hearted if you’re collecting by car.

Good curry house. Central location in Fore Street. Quite a small room with steep upstairs to toilets. Slightly unfamiliar menu featuring Southern Indian dishes, which can be quite hot with chilli. Lovely service and good food. Well recommended.

We walked in off the street without booking, to a very warm welcome. My partner and I were staying in Fowey to celebrate his birthday and both chose different fish curries I opted for the one with mango, and have to say it’s was delicious. My partner chose a hot curry and enjoyed his immensely. We would highly recommend.

Been a number of times and always enjoyed it. Been today and it was absolutely awful. The onion bahjis came out and in line with Halloween looked like Freddie Krugers face. They were cremated. Then we got our Curry's, the chicken tikka masala was too creamy and had no taste. The alleppey Beef had too much spice. The Indian is overpriced but I don't normally mind paying as it used to be good. But on this occasion it was beyond bad. Shocking shocking shocking. Will never return.

We’ve meant to come in every time we’ve been to Fowey, and finally got here this evening. So pleased we did! Plenty of choice on the menu. Every mouthful was delicious, the mushroom and spinach dosa especially - enough to have half for a takeaway! My partner was really pleased with his fish curry. The mango lassi was smooth and fruity. Service was warm and friendly and the bill was very reasonable. We hope to go back soon.

Amazing, amazing food. Had a delivery from Sunny Spice on our holidays and it was one of the best currys we've ever had.... We have a local South Indian at home and the food is quite different to your traditional British curry, really flavourful and light rather than the thick sauces, it's also a bit healthier and less fatty. Equally it's great sunny spice have some more regular Curry's on the menu if that's your thing, but really recommend trying something different to your usual and explore the menu. The Dosas are immense, had the pumpkin one and the flavour was superb, great mix of spices, not hot but full of flavour - better than anything I've had on brick lane - and a massive portion! Even the popadoms and chutney selection blew us away... Try something different, expect you won't regret it!

Not great to be honest, portion size was small, chuckneys was filled with very little and starters was EXTREMELY small, flavours on main courses was quite bland and basic so sadly let us down on our anniversary meal out, but on the flip side of the coin the ambience was nice and the staff were polite altho you had barely sat down and and taken your jacket off and there was a waiter/waitress asking you if you had chosen yet lol, so in all food was not great at all but the ambience and staff were nice hence the 2 stars but I will not be going again.
