The lady on the phone was so pleasant and accommodating, the delivery driver was lovely and the food was delicious. Our first time ordering from Empress Wok but it certainly won't be the last.
Food comes faster then I can get then plates warmed up and drinks on the table. Salted chilli and curry’s great
Moved into the area and obviously wanted to try and closer Chinese, my friend suggested here. Best decision, food is lovely! My husband is usually fussy but not this time. Happy customers.
Visited here a January and February 2024.nuce take away. Extremely fast service and attentive and friendly assistant at the counter. Nice delivery driver too made an order and it was fast and efficient. Food nice rest and not swimming in oils Nice clean food.
Food lovely but attitude on phone is horrendous! Order was wrong & making out it was my fault, the cheek I had to take from her was wild! Counter staff will definitely lose them business, I will definitely never order from them again .. NEW COUNTER STAFF REQUIRE ASAP
Ordered a prawn tonight have to say as soon as I opened the carton I could smell it was off ,bit into one just to make sure it wasn’t in my head it was really sour and it didn’t taste like prawns normally do, I brought it back down and the lady argued with me telling me they were fine then she started blaming the sauce then the carton that it was in, she did ask if I wanted something else, I told her no because I will not eat out of there again so she handed me £4 back. I normally like the food out of there but I will never eat out of it again. I really don’t know if there would be a place open on a Sunday to get them fresh because that’s what she said they were fresh today on a Sunday 2 days after new year some how I don’t believe that!!
Attitude on phone. They forgot my curry then charged me a second delivery charge 40 minutes later. Tried to blame me for not ordering, which I did. Absolutely terrible customer service. Girl needs a new job
Just ordered Sunday chinese as we always do from this Chinese, my partner ordered a half and half with curry and honey chilli sauce and extra peppers and onions while I got a half portion salted chilli chicken we had to wait a hour on this and we are only round the corner also when the delivery arrived it was also wrong it came with peas instead of peppers.. my partner phoned and they made a pregnant woman walk back round to collect her order as the delivery driver had Glencairn and etc on.. Absolutely a joke. If you cant do your job dont be there.
