Nice, but salted chilli chicken is too garlicky it sort of tastes like vinegar it’s so strong. The honey chilli sauce also tastes like too much garlic is in it Would be absolutely beautiful if it was sweeter and less garlic

i love their food, the sliced chicken is a bit odd though. chicken curries are nice as long as it's not the sliced chicken, chips are decent. fast delivery time, never waited over 30 minutes from them.

People saying about wait times - I’m really confused, went when the place was busy, about 5 different orders were going and i got mine in about 20-30m even with only 1 or 2 people in the kitchen. Great service and the food was absolutely delicious. I can’t fault the place at all, maybe it’s a bit too small inside but that’s about it, this is my go-to chinese place now (and has been for a year)

Look, there is a lot of reviews on here from when this chinese first opened, which are not great, and to that, I would have to agree. I got from here when the place first opened and it was really slow, beef was tough and overall it was just not the best. The honey chilli sauce had more garlic than anything else in it. Now, it has been opened for a while, waiting times have drasitcally improved, and so has the quality of food. We get from here every couple of weeks and it is a treat. The chicken fried rice is top notch and my wife loves the chicken balls! The honey chilli chicken tastes great now and I honestly have no complaints. They are still a little slow, but nothing too bad. Only real downside is the shop is particularly small inside so it can be a bit cramped, but most local takeaways are similar so I don't mind. To summarise, yes it was not great at the start, but once they found their feet, everything improved so much and is definitely one of my favourite takeaway spots now. Would defo recommend.

All negative reviews are from back when it first opened. I'll be honest the wait times were shocking, they were finding their feet but it's greatly improved. Food is best in the area, fairly priced, good sized portions, always warm, and yet to have an order incorrect. Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

We usually use a Fantastic Chinese on the Shore Road who’s curry could never be matched, but when this new Chinese takeaway Hakka Wok opened closer to home we decided to give them a try. We were not disappointed, it’s the closed flavour to our usual that we have ever tasted. Since then we have used them ever since. I would highly recommend giving them a try, great food, great taste!!

The food was lovely. Arrived very quickly and was still pipping hot.

Should be called "Hakka Wait" Nice to see a takeaway open in Carnmoney, was well needed, but if they keep going on the way they are it may not last that long! Utterly rediculous waiting times when ordered in the shop. Stood for over 80 mins to get 2 simple meals, total orginised chaos , never seen anything like it in my life. Way too many staff behind the counter, I could actually see them moving order dockets around like micky marleys roundabout, total shambles it was. People had walked in after me and ordered more and where away well before me, when I mentioned this I got no reply, very irrogant not to respond to clients regardless of where they work. Must think if you work in a takeaway you do not need any customer service skills. I had to ask 3 times where my food was, was nearly asking for my money back. Finally got the order and went home (in pain from standing so long). Food was fine, that is the only reason I am giving 2 stars. And because the food was fine, I thought , OK, few days later I would phone in an order for delivery, that was a non starter due to the phone ringing so long, then they cut it off when you connect and then call back and engaged and then cut of again. A lot to learn here but on that note, I have decided not to order again, not to go there again and try and forget about the whole terrible experience. More drama than an episode of Eastenders. All I can say, pull up your socks or people like me would not be returning customers. Never ever had to wait that long, even on a delivery from Glengormley or Jordanstown takeaways and they where phone in orders over many years.
