Cheap as chips! Hands down the best fish and chips around! We have been two weeks running now and sat down for tea, family run, friendly and cheap too! Fish batter is gorgeous, chips delicious and the peas and gravy are wow! See you next week ;0)

Food is good when they have it tryed 3 weeks on the trot to get steak pies and they had wouldn’t mind but it was only 5pm told cook fresh daily ,even rung in advance there not getting the message to have more available but when they have it it’s great But if u want choice when u want it go village fish bar in the square
Really nice chipshop. There's good seating inside if you want to eat in. Everything was freshly cooked the day we went and was very tasty.
Popped in after dropping rubbish off at the tip. The shop is so clean that you could eat off the floor, the toilets spotless. I bought the lunchtime special, fish, chips and peas, to take away and thoroughly enjoyed my dinner. The fish was cooked to perfection, the batter crispy and beautifully cooked chips accompanied with peas. And the guy knows how to put on salt and vinegar. By that I mean lots and lots, thank you .
If you are in Calverton or even passing by, call in to this fish bar, they offer take away or.sit in. The staff are amazing and the food cooked fresh and is very tatsy and piping hot. Large selection from Cod, haddock, pies and all the chippy faves, or if you fancy have a kebab. I had cod chips and mushy peas (ofcourse lol) and it was gorgeous crispy batter not fatty or greasy at all. Highly recommend. The restaurant area and serving area are spottless A real nice place to sit and eat
Freshly cooked fish to order always a good welcome and if you go for a meal in the evening you can take your own wine
