   Placed our order at 7.20. It's now almost 21.16. Spent nearly 50 quid with these people. Can't get through by phone and haven't received any updates. Ruined our evening and the kids are also starving. Restaurant is a 5 min drive from us! Atrocious service. Edit: Got through by phone in the end to speak to some hapless person that didn't seem to care. Didn't even get an apology. Was told food would be here 5 mins ago when I spoke to him. That was 20 mins ago. Still not here. We used to spend hundreds a year with Lucky House but they've gone massively down hill. Will not be ordering ever again from this place. Second edit: Food arrived in the end. 3 hours late. Completely lost my appetite by then and was understandably fuming. Kids ended up sleeping late because the food came late and were therefore too tired for their gymnastics class. Lucky House – Close your restaurant. You have no business running any restaurant.

   Do not order from this place. Food ordered at 7.20 constant phone calls trying to get an update. Once we finally got through at 9pm they said they are just starting to make the food. We said forget delivering it we will come and collect. Upon arriving to collect we were told they have not started cooking yet. Offered a cheap bottle of coke as compensation.

   Placed an order on Uber Eats. After an hour and a half’s wait with no delivery, we were told it would be another half hour. Nothing arrived. Tried to phone back and they had taken the phone off the hook! After continuously trying, the phone started ringing, they answered and then put the phone down on me without even speaking. Food never arrived. Will NEVER use these again!

   The food was tasty, but the delivery took far too long. I placed my order at 8:55 PM and didn’t receive it until 11:20 PM. I tried calling them more than 20 times, but the line never went through, and there was no update or communication, leaving me completely out of the loop. I ordered fried rice, spring rolls, and chicken wings. The restaurant is only a 5-minute drive from me, so I don't understand why it took so long. Despite the good taste, I won’t be ordering from them again.

   The food was tasty, but that's irrelevant when it arrives 2 hours late. No explanation on the app, and just a generic text saying "it's delayed", which they just kept sending each time they failed to meet their own new arrival time. Couldn't ring the restaurant as they've shut off their phone line. I thought about driving down to the place myself to see if it was even open, and just as I was getting ready to go, they finally marked it as out for delivery, 2.5 hours after me ordering a fairly normal order from a place 10 minutes away. Abysmal service and I'm appalled that I've had to pay full price for this. I deserve SOME sort of discount at least. Final thoughts: AVOID THIS PLACE.

   Very very poor service. Have waited over 2 hours for food with no explanation from restaurant. When we try to call them there is no answer, so you are left in the dark about where your food is. This is the second time we've tried this place and won't be trying again.

   VERY POOR SERVICE I ordered food through Uber ears (but the restaurant uses its own delivery driver )at 7.35 on Friday night expecting it to be delivered within an hour , two and a half later Uber Eats was still saying delivery expected and still no food I tried to contact the restaurant without any luck . I then went down to Lucky house to see where it was to be told the delivery driver left 5 minutes ago , on returning home still no food . When I looked at Uber eats the restaurant had cancelled.

   Ordered 3 items for delivery on New Years Eve, wait time was an hour when ordering, once order was placed said nearly 2 hours, fair enough it’s New Year’s Eve. Still hadn’t arrived at 2 hours so called and said it would be another 25 minutes. Absolute joke, it would take 25 minutes to cook the 3 items I’d ordered 2 hours ago. Never ordering from here again.

   Have to say really really good food. Doesn't look much from the outside, bit scruffy and could do with decent lick of paint inside. But food... I have to say the best I've had in years. Good value, tasted spot on and plenty of it. We had the set meal for 4 and ordered an extra sweet & sour chicken ball dish....plus chips!!!!!! ;) I have a thing recently when having chicken balls that they all seem to have the bleach taste to then. No, not at lucky House. They were how they should taste and how I remember them from years gone by. Now I've found a good Chinese I'll have no hesitation to go back. Also... Nice touch the free bottle of Pepsi Max.
