Cannot think of having better Chinese food! Have been twice and loved it both times. The Sesame Prawn Toast is stunning, along with the Duck starter to share. Have had 2 of the Rice Bowl Meals and each have been wonderful. It doesn't look much, and the football analysis on the radio didn't help the atmosphere, but was quirky. Got better when local radio changed to be a music show. Already looking forward to going back!

The service was through, efficient and helpful. We asked for adjustments to some dishes and they were accommodating. We also asked if they could make a crispy noodle seafood dish which they said they could. We had the crispy fried squid with salt and pepper, it tasted fine but more like a squid pakora than a crispy squid with salt and black pepper unlike any we have had before. Also there was quite a bit of Chinese five. We also opted for the tofu in special sauce, which although tasty was drenched in oil, I had to ask for some of the oil to be drained for the leftovers were packed for take away. Again five spice present and a bean of some kind in the special sauce which I could not identify. All in all ok but not blown away.

Amazing food, lovely service and would definitely come back for more next time! Loved the lady who seemed so happy serving the food and she made me and my partner feel so welcome which was a cherry on the top of the lovely food. The highlight was definitely the shanghai pork belly and my personal favourite was the sesame prawn toast.♥️

Do not be fooled by the restaurant's exterior appearance. We went there for the first time today and we were very pleased. The service was fast and very friendly. The food is simple, fresh and great. It gave us the feeling of being a family restaurant with authentic, delicious Chinese food. Furthermore, the price was extremely affordable, having paid less than 40 pounds for two starts and two main courses. Definitely recommend this place!

Never felt welcome and everything about it was awkward.. food was mediocre at best.. fried rice was actually boiled rice with scrambled egg added.. sorry not nearly good enough for £15

Came in tonight for takeaway and it was one of the best takeaways I’ve had from Nottingham! Amazing food! Dim Sum was to die for and the salt and pepper tofu was perfection! We will definitely come to eat in as I can imagine the food will be even better. The lady who took my order was brilliant too, very patient and helpful when I had questions about the menu, will definitely be back.

Authentic food and great service. They have really authentic Northern dishes that many places don't have. Prices are amazing, one of the best Chinese restaurants in Nottingham.

Nice environment and service, food came very quickly after ordering. We ordered dry hot pot beef, boiled water fish, pork and cabbage, all delicious. The downside is probably the portion is a bit small compared to the other restaurants.

Had the salt and pepper ribs, Kung pao chicken, white cabbage vegetable and some white rice. The food was amazing and I definitely recommend this place to people looking for a taste of authentic Chinese food outside of China. They were open on Christmas when I went, and they also do deliveries. Excellent service by the people working here, will definitely come back again if I'm in the area.
