   I have been using oriental express for 15 years now and never had a bad meal. Food is always excellent. I don’t even live in Kinver anymore but still travel in to collect one from there. Tried several others but they never compare. Highly recommend.

   Open until 12 am every Saturday been in hospital having surgery all day only thing kept me sane was have a chines once I got home after not being able to eat for 24 hours, been ringing and ringing non stop since I got home at 11.25 which luckily because I’ve been pressuring all the hospital staff all day that I need to be released and home before 12am so I can order my Chinese. I was constantly ringing through to answerphone , no automated message letting me know it’s closed which it normally does out of hours so after over 20 failed attempts to get through, it got to 11.45 pm so had not other option other then to make my way down there to make order over the counter. To be met with a closed sign above an opening time list clearly stating Friday and Saturday opening times are 5.00pm - 12.00 am. With no notice at all why the restaurant was shut minimum 30 mins before closing time. As the was lights on in the kitchen and could visibly see figures working back their, I decided to give the door a knock and although I’m a frequent customer for the past 15 years (only reason being it’s the only available Chinese take away to offer delivery to my address) even after countless unhappy orders I have not once complained, instead I’ve just found two dishes that are bearable from them at the best I was shooed off followed by a middle finger. So made the commute back home to realise it resulted in my healing wound to be tore open and end up back in hospital. Extremely disappointing which i believed the was no way this take away restaurant could possibly make me anymore disappointed as it had previously especially after knowing the quality of their spare ribs are that poor the quantity of meat from the whole spare ribs portion was less than a singular rib from three of three neighbouring take aways tested. Shockingly poor service

   Food was nice but the woman behind the counter over charged us and we would of got more sense talking to our dog. Never got a refund and ended up telling her to keep the £5. And very rude with an annoying smirk on her face.

   Saturday night takeaway was great. Food was tasty and good portions. Two negatives 1) They forgot the rice (one and only portion) 2) They didn’t answer the phone (20min after order it was ready).

   Second time buying from here, theybare cash only, but they are open Tuesdays. Food has been excellent tasty and hot both times, and wait wasnt too long at all. Will certainly use regularly from now on. Staff friendly and welcoming.

   Never again! We have used these take away for a few years now and never had any issues. But the last time we used them was the complere opposite. Mucking up out food order we called them back and informed them. We thought it's ok we have always had such good service it will be fine. How wrong we was... the girl on the phone was rude. We had a total of 3 phone calls with them trying to get confirm what we did an did not have. The second lot of food turned up 1hr later, they said 15 mins. Then they even charged us saying we had order more. Oh and shocker the second food was still wrong! Never again we will use this takeaway! Especially now I have found the 1 star food hygiene rating!
