   So impressed with our beautiful evening last night. Considering the time of the year and that every table in the place was full, the service and food was immaculate. We’d pre booked and pre ordered. Perfect table. Drinks arrived quickly and were topped up on point! Every meal we pre ordered was accurate and delicious and right on time. Just the perfect evening x

   Pleasant, but the paella was very bland, and the duo of pork, although nice, was very dry and nowhere near enough sauce. Waiting staff were largely excellent - Enja was lovely - but drinks took a while (which wasn't her fault).

   Food is was amazing and staff too. We had a lovely evening. And will definitely come back again. Our waitress was a lady named Nicola and she was fantastic, polite and cheerful and gave great customer service. There was three of us at the table and we came 25th October 4pm and left around 6pm. But all agreed was a star to restaurant.

   A happy place. The Management at this restaurant clearly understands that happy staff means happy customers. Not all Ego's are the same. Usual lovely food, served hot typically a one hour visit for your two course meal. Some disappointing portion control when I would rather just pay a bit more. A mean side of scallops and only half a bread roll with my soup...

   Every year we come to Ego to celebrate our birthdays, which are 4 days apart and we’re never disappointed. Food was excellent as ever, pate, goats cheese, pork, ribeye steak and Eton mess, perfect. The only issue I have is we were booked for 2pm and I wanted to change the booking for 2:30pm, however, I phoned 6 times and got the answer machine saying that I called at a busy time and it’s best to call between 9am and 11am, that didn’t help as it was 1pm. So I had to cancel the reservation and then re-book for 2:30pm so we could be accommodated at that time. When we got to the restaurant the place was pretty much a quarter full, all at the far end of the restaurant so calls could not be heard at the front desk as you walk in. This did not effect the visit, very happy with the food.

   Back again, and great food as always. The steak was better than I expected and the calamari was great! I enjoyed the Camembert bites and the chocolate tart as dessert. The only thing (which is down to personal taste) is, I would strongly advise against the caramel martini. It just tastes like something is off but I think it’s the Disaronno that doesn’t balance well in the cocktail. You can’t go wrong with ego for a relatively casual meal out. Be sure to book ahead as it does get extremely busy and especially at peak times I doubt they could accommodate walk-ins.

   I attended Ego yesterday. The waitress we had was lovely. Very polite and super helpful. We enjoyed our meals, the drinks took a little bit long to come out but we understood as we all had freshly made cocktails. The food was reasonably priced and it was a lovely environment. I would recommend.

   We booked a table for a birthday celebration. We were seated right away. Staff was attentive and cordial. Food was delicious. We ordered the set meal, and it was worth the price! Atmosphere was very nice. Try to get a seat by the window. Great view.
