If you like hidden gems, a little 'off the beaten track', this peaceful cafe is ideal. It has the atmosphere of a quaint tearoom where you might find characters from a Christie mystery novel. The food is prepared just as you request (my bacon and egg on toast are always perfect). The staff members are very accommodating, polite and friendly. It's a strictly cash service, opens on weekdays only, and closes at 2pm. Cosy and friendly.

Quiet cafe in the heart of the city. Prices are low and quality is great.

Lovely people running it. Prices you would not believe. Service a bit slow but they were very busy, which was great to see.

A quiet cafe, with relaxed service ran by the church. If you need somewhere peaceful and need a coffee and maybe some toast. This is the perfect place to chill and chat. Very fairly priced and a good selection of second hand books to browse

I loved people who served and low prices. The interior can be improved as the space is beautiful with high potential, but the place is neat and clean

I had a sausage roll, it was very tasty. I also had a strawberry fruit tea which was refreshing. The staff were friendly and prompt.

I had never been and my friend Jan took me. What a lovely find . Beutiful fresh food. Lovely staff. (Don't insult the chef though by asking for ketchup or pepper for your eggs, he seasons them whilst cooking ) . To be fair it is beutiful . The staff are attentive from how you want your tea, to the moment you leave. Lovely place would definitely recommend and will return x
