    Gave 5* because it wouldn’t let me post it with 1 star, I wonder why… Went grocery shopping today with my husband and baby. I usually go to the self-scan section when I'm alone, but because of the baby, we decided to go to the manned tills, so everything was scanned by a person. On our way out, the alarm started beeping, so we stopped to see what it was. I assumed it was their pencil liner because we had almost forgotten about it until the guy behind us reminded us to pick it up. The security guy then came and started asking us questions took our receipt pretending to check the grocery. I was trying to explain to him that it might be the pencil as it was left behind but he wouldnt listen, he treated us as if we were thieves we felt really humiliated when we left. When my husband confronted him saying u should do a better job by checking the grocery one by one he started being rude to him saying β€œwho are u talking to” but if this was a white man saying it he would’ve been fine. This is not the first time I've seen it happen, it always involves a black or brown individual being stopped! They are all racist there. Only reason i go there is because it’s a few minutes from where i live. 29/12

    Tried to return a parcel tonight, they accepted one the sent me to another section for an Asda parcel. I came back to send the other parcel and they told me with a smirk they weren’t accepting anymore parcels. Awful service when I’m stood in front of them!

    Generally a good store, where you can go and get what you need fast. But i have had multiple click and collect orders and paid for express, and normal collection slots. When I arrive, they said the order isn't ready, I wait 2 hours past my slot beforr leaving and coming back later. My slot was at 1pm and I had to come back at 6pm and it was finally ready. And it isn't just the one time, it's happened 4/5 times, but I thought they'd improve or its just a one off, they never improved and now I go to great bridge. The store itself is good, but they need more staff on click and collect and more pickers to fulfill their collection times, as they can't do it. They shouldn't charge Β£3.50 for express slots which they can't fulfill.

    Every time I come into this store to get a pizza made (which is a product they offer), there is never anyone behind the counter. They are either off sick or on a break. Please tell me why some of the staff walking round aimlessly on the shop floor cannot cover. Why offer a service which you very rarely deliver.

    Extremely rude staff on the self scan department & scan as you go. They stand around talking and moaning very loudly about how much they hate their job. The last time i asked for a bag (as they never leave them out) she acknowledged me and then continued to chat to her friends and if you ask for them to do an action on the till they just scan their cards and don't even speak to you even if you say thank you they just walk away no smile or anything. I really do believe these members of staff need to be sent on a customer service course. Infact it feels like the ruder they can be the better.

    The unmanned fuel pump failed and went 'out of service' during use and stopped delivering fuel while still adding costs to the total. No receipt was printed and pump reset. My card was charged the full amount. I called down to store using their emergency onsite phone and a staff member came over. She refused to provide me with a replacement receipt as the computer was not accessing todays sales. My over charge was ignored being told nothing can be done and my request for a written receipt was denied. I then called Customer Service on their 0800 number and after explaining my complaint the agent hung up on me. Update - Response to reply. Unfortunately your reply contradicted my issue. There is no point going back to store as they have already told me they can't help. So I suspect I will get the same response (I am 20 miles from store). I can no longer provide proof of purchase other than the photos I took, remember, my issue was they would not provide a receipt for me that's needed for business expenses. The transaction date was 25th January approx 8.45am. You will have it all on your CCTV.

    It is quite a long time ago i went to shop in this asda i needed to buy just couple of things so i didn’t take trolley i thought i ll carry them in my hand i had a shopping bag later i remembered i need couple more things so i started putting things in bag so would be easier to carry suddenly some stupid lady from the staff started screaming security security and this security guy showed up and he treated me like i m a thief i explained him why i m putting it in bag but he was so racist and didnt let me alone even for a second followed me whole time i felt so humiliated went just once there this is closest to my house but i go to other do 3 miles but i m happy because i get better customer service. This store has serious racism issue staff needs to be trained

    2 months ago my phone was stolen off the checkout in asda. Asda store refused to check cameras, I had my 1 year old in to and they refused to do anything. Infact the short red head with a long bob who wears a jacket saying happy to help laughed at me an said it were my fault. Fast forward to yesterday I click and collect clothes for my child go to collect them to be told already collected, tells the woman cannot be possible she gets her supervisor it's the read head. She was so rude shouted at me infront of customer's and actually made me cry. When I walked off she yelled your welcome I ring customer services turns out my order was collected at the exact time I put my details in there machine. Funny that now I have to wait 3-5 days for a refund to repurchase. By the way its winter and this order was bed socks to keep her warm at night I'll just have to buy them somewhere else. Shame I've spent thousands here over the years I suggest asda take a good look at this member of staff. Click and collect order number 104958673 Monday 9 November 345pm also if I had known about cctv 2 months ago I could have done something. Now it's too late so not helpful at all FYI I am not xomplaining about the click and collegue at all I am referring to the woman with the red hair who took over from click and collect lady!

    cigarette lady is so rude. She is a kind of raciest. Yesterday, I was there for cigarette, she was so rude and today as well. I don’t know why Asda has this kind of staff members. Asda should take action against thus kind of staff members. This is the only reason for 1 star. I don’t know how to explain you, but I am trying my best. Actually, I want buy cigarettes. but I saw she was aggressive already before I start asking her about cigarettes. Her body language and face expressions were not good. They way she was talking to me it was very aggressive. Her tone was very strong when she was talking to me. It’s happened on 26th Oct after 1800 as well, but I thought maybe workload or something not going good with her, because it’s happened. But next day on 27th Oct after 1800, it’s happened again. This makes me very disappointed.
