   Had an afternoon tea costing £30 a head. It was quite disappointing. The sandwich selection was very poor. One beetroot sandwich, one cheese sandwich, one very bad horseradish sandwich, and a very little bit of turkey sandwich. The cakes were also just out of a packet and poor. And we had one pot of tea between a large table and they didn’t have any more tea cups. I would not visit again for afternoon tea.

   Just had a coffee. Pleasant helpful staff and customers. Coffee could have been hotter, but a nice drink. Nice location in Bantock House courtyard and lovely box hedge garden.

   I organised to hold my aunt's wake in the Coach house. The room was arranged beautifully and was very clean. The buffet was nice with a range of sandwiches and tea, coffee, fruit and cakes and all for £9 a head. It was no problem to make my finicky grandson a sandwich he would eat. All the people who attended commented on how nice it was.

   What a great Venue. I visited here as a direct recommendation someone who had posted on line called Karen Jones who shared details about the friendliness of the venue, and that alone was enough to draw me in, but then i tried the food and was blown away. Doing the basics, really well is what it’s all about for me, with the use of High Quality, delicious ingredients. Such a great Vibe, with people and pets, children and adults being welcome. It’s great to see a venue function so well, with a great inviting atmosphere, non pretentious. So many venues these days make too many adjustments for the random occasional immunocompromised that places lose what it is to be a venue of great food, great company and great memories. I’ve found my new favorite place

   Staff not very friendly just that's to serve food Quite disappointed with the pot of tea for 2 very weak atmosphere well there wasn't any felt little uncomfortable in there place was clean though and an area you can eat with your dogs inside also water for the dogs so that was a bonus

   Brilliant experience all around! The food was tasty, lots of options, and best of all, high-quality coffee! The service is top notch and I couldn't say anything bad about this place, other than the building is very old, which not many people mind, but in the colder months, it will be significantly colder than in summer, for example. I'm here all the time when I'm getting my exercise walking around the whole park. If you walk around like me, I recommend you come here for a quick drink or snack, just for a nice energy refuel. 10/10

   DOG FRIENDLY!!!!! A fantastic cafe with lovely tea, coffee & cakes. We'd give it six out of five because they are dog friendly and gave loads of fuss and biscuits to our pups!!!!

   We regularly stop by for a coffee or hot chocolate on our walks around the park. They serve illy coffee which makes for a delicious Caramel Latte. Most of the staff are friendly. They also do fresh cakes. We recently had donut from there and it was yummy. They also gave us a napkin and takeaway plate to eat it easily on a bench which was a welcome addition. It's a shame we can't sit in right now. The courtyard area is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by.
