   From the moment you step inside Mad Hatters Tea Room, you’re transported into a whimsical world that perfectly lives up to its name. The décor is charming and full of character think vintage teapots, floral china and just the right touch of Wonderland magic. The service is absolutely outstanding. The staff are warm, attentive and genuinely passionate about what they do. They take the time to make you feel welcome and explain the menu with a smile, which makes the whole experience feel personal and special. The food and tea selection are nothing short of delightful. The sandwiches are fresh and perfectly balanced, the scones are light and buttery (especially with their homemade jam and clotted cream!) and the cakes look almost too beautiful to eat — but taste even better. The variety of teas is impressive, catering to both classic tastes and adventurous palates. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion, catching up with friends, or simply treating yourself, Mad Hatters Tea Room is the perfect escape from the everyday rush.    Had afternoon tea for 5 people today. A mixture of normal afternoon teas, savoury teas and one gluten free tea. All were delicious with lovely sandwiches and cakes freshly made by Kirsty one of the owners. And starting at £18 for the normal afternoon tea it was excellent value. A lot of effort went into making the gluten free tea and this one didn't disappoint as they have done at other venues. The service was excellent, attentive and very friendly. We will definately be going back for another afternoon tea and to sample other meals on the menu. I would definately recommend this quirky and comfortable little cafe to anyone.

   Had a superb hen-do type afternoon tea recently and the staff went above and beyond to cater for our table of 10. The lovely team also put together an individual afternoon tea plate for my two-year-old and this was such a great, warming gesture. The decor is fantastic and it has a very cosy vibe inside. Would love to come back here!

   Well, well well, that home baked bakewell slice of cake, perfectly balanced and moist, whilst crumbley and not too sweet, along side a large mocha, absolutely spectacular, it's been a while since I had such great tasting bakewell cake. I bought 2 slices of raspberry and coconut for some of my clients. Brilliant and friendly staff and local customers guarantee satisfaction. I'm definitely going to note it on my favourite lists for future visits. 11/6/25 * tried oreo cake, pleasantly satisfied.

   Visited for breakfast on a cold day, but it was very cold inside as no heating on and had to sit with coats on. Breakfast was nice with good service. Think it would of been better if was later on in the day and given it chance to fill up and warm up. Afternoon cakes and tea look very nice and think that would be a better option than the breakfast, so will try that next time.

   Had afternoon tea with my daughters and mom. Was back in April school holidays but i forgot to post. Lovely tearooms with a nice theme. The afternoon tea was lovely and you got lots of nice different cakes. The staff were really nice too. Thanks xxx

   Warm welcome Really fun filled place. Very quirky. Mismatched china plates and cups which we loved. Quite busy on arrival but we had booked ahead. Regulars were also there which is always a good sign. Very relaxed atmosphere. Nice to have our teapot refilled whenever we asked. Lady who served us checked we were ok but wasnt intrusive. Sandwiches were very fresh and of a good assortment. You have a choice of a slice of cake but then there is also a scone and then 2 smaller slices of cake. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised with our whole experience. Good value, lovely and fresh. We will definitely be returning. Another customer was booking in for Sunday Lunch which sounded very appetising. Parking isnt perfect but thats not the venues fault. We parked a few streets away and then walked further into the centre of the village. It was a nice stroll to walk off our sugar fix.
