   We visited last year, and the service was terrible and the food awful. I was reluctant to come again but a few friends had said that new owners had taken over and it had improved. So gave it a go and booked our team meal. Happy to say much improved. Food was lovely, great portions and cooked and presented very well. Service was a little slow, but due to it being Christmas i can ignore that as a lot of groups were in. Staff were very accommodating as well. I forgot someone off the order, and with no bother at all,l she quickly took the order and added it on. The table was decorated beautifully, as was the rest of the pub. I would now visit again more regularly 100%. Well done to whoever has taken over the running of this, such a turnaround, and you can tell lots of effort has been put into the pub.

   Visited here Monday 15th December for festive menu the young lady behind the bar was very pleasant and accommodating food was beautiful ant hot. The young gentleman who served our table was lovely, pleasant and very well mannered a credit to your establishment. We had a table for 5 we were served quickly and virtually all together we will definitely be back in the New Year. Merry Christmas to you all.

   Large open plan pub. A really good atmosphere. The staff are friendly and efficient looking after your needs. The pub has recently undergone an extensive refurb, everything is clean tidy and modern. There are numerous TV'S around the pub including a GIANT screen both inside and out making it ideal for sporting events. Plenty of free parking in the large carpark. The menu is extensive and the food arrived quickly and piping hot. Overall a classic pub which having had a great refurbishment is clean and comfortable.

   Visited today with my family, for Sunday lunch service was outstanding, the manager was very friendly and polite and some how managed to get me to go large on a roast dinner! Food was delicious and hot and great value for money even tho she got me to order a go large. My waitress was friendly and polite and made sure I had everything I needed she recommended the crumble for dessert. The kids enjoyed watching the TVs and they even put cbeebies on for the kids. Will definitely go again.

   Myself and a few friends chose to met up for food and a get together at the Gospel Oak yesterday evening. Our experience was a good one. We was met by friendly and help bar staff, the room was clean with a great atmosphere. Once we ordered our food it didn’t take long to be served to us and it was tasty with good portions. I would definitely return. 10 out of 10!

   Had a great time celebrating our moms bday. There were 20 of us all together, food was all served at the same time, no wait time at all. Food was excellent!! Children was all made to feel welcome and the general atmosphere was lovely. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely come here again.

   Brilliant pub, very good food but a very general menu. Plenty of tables lovely garden area and ample parking. Great meeting point as in central location. Will most deffinatly recommend.
