   We had a lovely morning with our family having breakfast with Santa. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Santa was amazing, very entertaining, he kept the children really engaged. Would definately recommend to others. The breakfast was cooked fresh and tasty. For us as we have 5 fussy grandchildren so another choice of breakfast would have neen nice but we cannot fault what we had. Well done to all the staff and santa.

   Love the refurb! Pub feels modern and cosy! Visited with a few friends for a catch up last week, food came out hot and was cooked as we asked... staff were friendly and attentive! Nothing was to much trouble.. Have booked up for one of their festive events! See you soon.

   Tried here as its somewhere different. Never again. Sat down and straight away i asked for the table to be cleaned as it was sticky and wet. Same goes for by the bar area and you can feel it under your feet. Greeted by a girl, when I asked if they had any seats she replied with " just sit anywhere where there's pre booked tables, no smile or nothing. Anyways we ordered starters of wings, and battered mushrooms. The Wings were lovely tbf but the dish they brought them in was filthy. My wife's mushrooms were over cooked and burnt too. Then came the mains. I had the cowboy burger which was burnt, obviously overcooked and dry, and the wife's steak pie had no meat in and dry too. If I'm honest it's not worth a visit. Shame

   Absolutely AMAZING! Booked a table for 11 people at 5 pm, the start of the Saturday evening rush. Half adults, half kids. From start to finish the staff were fantastic. I can be quite hypercritical when leaving reviews, especially if there have been any issues, but hand on heart, amazing service, delicious HOT meals, nothing was too much trouble amending the kids meals. I asked the Manager would it be possible to have someone take our order, rather than us trying to repeat it at the bar. Although everyone thoroughly enjoyed their own choice of meal, each passed comment how they envied the look of the other meals. Desserts were scrumptious too, especially the Dipping Donuts! They sure went done a treat with the younger grandchildren. Everyone's meals arrived together, no delays, all hot temperature wise, absolutely no issues whatsoever. Yet the place was packed, with no spare tables. We've been lucky that each time we have dined here, it has always been a good experience. The staff are friendly, helpful, polite, and professional.

   First time going to a "Generous George" and I left feeling pretty confident that I won't be visiting another! Two mains and two cans of Tango came to an eye watering £32! I also found the portions to be small for the price. Ended up stopping at the chippy on the way home as the food wasn't filling at all. Nothing at all "Generous" about this place. They also fail to list the prices of drinks on the menu! (See photo) I'm pretty sure the food only added up to about £24, meaning it cost £8 for two cans of Tango... No wonder they don't list the prices!!!
