   Quite, out of the way bar ideally set up for the canalside community. Definitely a blast from the past. Recommend if you want to taste a little history. Glad I finally got down to check it out, but not my cup of tea.

   A fantastic place for engine repairs on your boat. Just avoid if you want diesel. It is the most expensive on the canal network currently £1.10 ltr as for the owners who can be quite moody for no apparent reason. I don’t think they care if they have custom or not. Great for engine repairs. Customer service alful and they still sell diesel all be it very expensive compared to others

   Stopped here for fuel as we passed, we were advised that they had a bar onsite if we wished to have a drink that evening. So we dropped in for a drink, we were made very welcome by Sue, Phil and the locals. What a great place, good beer, good company and great chat. Happy to recommend and will stop again next time we are passing.

   It is like a family bar, with friendly people, nice view ans small place to drink your beer outside. Is right along the river. If you like to see the small beautiful boats passing , take a break and visit the bar on Sunday afternoon. Yo can make a lot of friends around, or even go fishing on the river.
