   Booked tonight (6th December) for the Christmas fayre menu for me and 3 friends and I have to say it was absolutely amazing. 3 courses for £25 was well worth the money. The food was delicious and nice and hot. We were looked after all evening by Ryan who was very polite, attentive and very efficient and is a credit to the place. I would highly recommend people try this, you won't be disappointed.

   Just been for Sunday dinner and I have to say 100% it is one of the nicest roast dinners I have had out. Choice of meats or all 3, lots of veg, Yorkshire pudding and lashings of gravy. Highly recommend well done to the chefs ⭐️

   Really nice atmosphere staff really friendly. Good stock of whiskey good real ale. Coffee smells amazing - the good was fantastic really tasty. Have been wanting to pop in since they renovated the pub.

   In my opinion- I wont be returning, as the veg was very aldente the yorkie so flat :/ I had just bought a pint of coke, went to pull the table towards the sofa I was sitting on and as the table was 'stuck' to the floor , wen it did move my drink went all over me! We were handed a roll of blue tissue and left to get on with it. Not asked what happened, if I was ok or any apologies. I wont be returning, which is a shame as I had high hopes for the place when I walked in. :(

   Oh my goodness, we booked for the Wednesday steak night special, and definitely weren't disappointed . The steak was absolutely divine, melted in our mouths. Chips, sides and sauce were beautiful. And we have no complaints about the service, front of house, cleanliness or anything for that matter. Such a fantastic and lovely chef, we look forward to coming again.

   Please bring back a lunch time menu!! Something like hot meat baguettes or cobs and lite bites are seriously needed to cater for those who don’t want a full meal in the day time. You are missing out on a lot of trade because of this. It used to buzz years back all day long as the menu options were right. Daytime specials used to work really well and the oldies loved it. (Plenty of em in Wall Heath!) The food we have actually had has been very good. New decor good. New staff have been welcoming.
