    My wife recently took our car in for its MOT and unfortunately the experience wasn’t as smooth as we had hoped. She was not informed when the MOT had been completed and had to phone the garage herself, only to be told that the car was already ready for collection. Clear and proactive communication would have made the process much easier. Additionally, when she picked up the car, it had been left in first gear. This raises some concern around attention to detail, especially as it could have caused an issue if the car had been started carelessly.
