   Just dropped my car in because I was concerned about a slight clunk when turning the wheel fully at slow speeds. Even though there had been a mix up over when my car was expected in, I waited just ten minutes whilst someone checked the suspension and steering and declared it fully fit for the road - no charge at all. I have been using this garage on and off for a couple of decades now and cannot recommend them highly enough! Good, trust-worthy people, price is always fair, always pleasant to deal with. Thank you to everyone at Dunstall Park Garages for an outstanding service, I really appreciate what you do!

   The customer service started of great until I decided I didn't want to accept their overpriced quote and grant permission to start work. I called in telling the garage I had an issue with a motor, I was told that the garage needs to check this and they don't have the motor in stock so they can't quote me until they check the car and order the part in. There was no mention of a fee to check the car. I dropped my car off to be checked and i received a call to ask for my permission to start works based off their quote. They gave me two quotes, one which included a Vauxhall part and one which was compatible with my car hence being slightly cheaper. The quotes were ridiculously overpriced! so I told the garage to hold off so i could make a decision and call back in 10 mins. I called another local garage for a quote and they quoted £150 less for the same job. I called the garage back and said please don't do any works i want to collect my car. The tone definately changed and I was told I was going to be billed for the parts they 'ordered'. I did not believe they ordered the parts as they gave me two different quotes so which part could they have ordered and how could they order the part in advance if they wanted to check the issue with my car. I questioned this on the phone and they could not provide me with a logical answer. I arrived to collect my car and they charged me £50 to check the fault which was my motor and mechanism as i advised when i first called in. This was a complete waste of time and money which was a shame as I did get a friendly and precessional first impression of them.

   Worthy of 2 stars as the mangers friendly the mechanics have not a clue what there talking about when it comes to cars and to say the work is over priced is an understatement cheaper to buy a brand new car
