   Good place to stop for a drink on a visit to Polperro. Quiet when we visited late on a Thursday afternoon. Nice range of beers. Very dog friendly - the dogs appreciated the tartan carpet to stretch out on.

   We reserved a table for 6 at the 'all-you-can-eat' curry night, booking for 18:15 based on the pub’s recommendation. Unfortunately, there was a large local golf club holding an awards ceremony, and they had eaten earlier than us, leaving us with the leftovers. Only four of us managed to get a bhaji since they had all run out, and 2 other dishes had already run low or were gone. While the food might be better on another night, we were disappointed with the quality for the £90 we spent on just the meal ( we spent a lot more with drinks). In hindsight, we probably should have mentioned it to the staff while we were there, but there was a staff member at the buffet station who was aware of the situation and could’ve been more proactive in addressing it. Additionally, as one of our group was treating us, it felt a bit awkward to bring up the issue at the time. On a positive note, the live band was fantastic!

   Brilliant food, a really good menu and very generous pudding portions. What made this place was the super-friendly and helpful staff. 5-7pm in Sept we got away without booking, but I'd recommend booking as it got busy after that.

   The food here was great, really enjoyed the Tapas. The staff were friendly and very helpful to make sure we were comfortable. My only feedback would be they don't really have any child friendly drinks, everything is juice.

   Nice pub, located in the heart of Polperro. Outdoor and indoor tables. They’ve got live music few days a week. We ordered tapas-style food. The chorizo is delicious. Quick service and welcoming staff.

   Cosy, quaint pub with Lovely friendly staff. We popped in for a drink and were met with a helpful friendly smile. The pub is very clean and as soon as a table became empty they were straight over wiping it down. Good choice of drinks too. I’ve knocked a star off just because it was a bit cold in there. Hopefully next time they will have the fire lit. But definitely a place to come back to.
