   The receptionists are always very helpful and friendly. Dr.Akash Thota has dealt with two problems that I have had this year. On each occasion he has been very helpful,friendly and efficient.He has explained what was wrong and the options available in a very clear way and I was easily able to make my choices because of this. He has explained the procedures every step of the way and carried them out in an exemplary manner. I would like to thank the practice and Dr.Thota very much for everything.

   I would certainly recommend Akash for any dental treatment. Just had a filling after initial consultation and he took time to reassure and explain procedure and follow up. A very pleasant dentist who would certainly put anyone with nervousness at ease.

   Do not use this dentist. At my last appointment, I was in the chair for under 4 minutes and was told everything was fine - they didn’t even do X-rays, despite the fact I have a known, serious jaw condition. I then went to a different dentist who identified several very serious issues (that had taken years to form) that were completely missed by Coven, leading to me needing extensive treatment. To quote my new dentist “anyone who has spent more than 10 minutes at dental school should have picked this up and treated you urgently”.

   My husband had treatment here and they charged him as a private patient and didn’t inform him. As he trusted them he didn’t question it until he told me what they had done. Rang and complained but they said they advised him!! Total lie. Dentist total rubbish I went for check up as I was in discomfort with a chipped tooth. Just prodded it and said it was fine and told me to see hygienist. Avoid at all costs.

   Stay away at all costs, personally they could have killed me I am allergic to penicillin and they gave me antibiotics with penicillin a few years a go and it could have killed me!! My mother in law who is 70 has just visited unbeknown too me and the overcharged her by more than pounds !!!! And did not even do full examination. We called and got no answers from the most unhelpful staff ever ! I have called 5 other dentists and they all said should have only been charged tier 1 not tier 2 for the work carried out !!!

   Not providing scale and polish, need to see a hygienist for £38 for 20 mins. They should inform you of this before the appointment. Dentist prodded my chipped tooth and said he'll give me an x Ray next time. I was in and out in seconds, absolute waste of £50 for me and my partner.

   My wife and I have used this dental practice now for 15 years. Would I recommend it?? You bet I would. The staff are friendly and always greet you with a smile. Today I had to go and have a post and crown refitted. No talk of a more expensive procedure, or more treatment. The old one was duly cleaned and refitted. For around £20. One reviewer claimed he was recommended a 5 grand replacement. I don't believe that for one minute. In the past 15 years we have only been asked to pay the standard NHS charges, which the dentist has no control over. If anyone has a problem with this dentist, I would suggest the problem lies with them, not the dentist. Would I give them 5 stars??? What do you think?
