    Haven't been to this salon for a couple of years but passed it today, looked in with fond memories, and want to give it a long-overdue review. I only stopped going to Peter Pyne's because I had to - I was part time, so was Wendy, my hairdresser, and between work and looking after a relative who couldn't' be left on her own it was impossible in the end to book regular appointments. Sadly I moved on. I noticed today that Wendy, my hairdresser of 20+ years is still there, and if you are reading this looking for a hairdresser I urge you to get an appointment with her if you can. She is the best hairdresser I ever had, and probably the best I will ever have. Confident and innovative in cutting and with a real eye for colour, trained in a huge variety of techniques to suit every type of hair and doubtless with some tricks of the trade that she has developed herself over the years. I drive my hairdressers mad now, trying to describe how she worked and asking them to do the same. Added to the fantastic hair-doo, an hour with Wendy is like an hour spent with a good friend, conversation flows, and lots of laughs. This is a great salon, and deserves a regular visit. If you are looking for somewhere new, do give it a try.
