   Delivery service on next day delivery is very poor, not only not received but unable to confirm delivery date. Customer services hit and miss, Spoke to them twice, first time very dismissive and rude, second time more helpful.

   Wide variety of clothing and home ware. Large store, well layed out. Good size changing rooms. Till area nice and wide. Self service as well as main till. Large free parking area available including accessible parking spaces.

   For such a reasonably large Matalan store this lacks something either in the range or presentation of the range of products on offer (especially men's clothing) which makes it feel kind of bland Checkout is slow and frustrating most of the time - creating separate queues for self service might be helpful! Pedestrian access is a little around the houses although that is a general problem for the entire retail park which needs addressing, cars too although I don't drive to the place as it is so bad for cars

   What has happened to customer service? Now you are encouraged and expected to serve your self at the payment point. Matalan will have saved thousands and thousands of pounds by not employing staff to take your payment and still expect you to pay for a bag to take your purchases home.

   I've given this store one star for 2 reasons. 1. Self checkouts. No I don't want to save your staff costs and deny people jobs. These things are frustrating and do not save time. 2. The homeware section of the store is now designed badly. It is not disabled or buggy friendly at all. This issue was raised to the store and ignored so shows how little they value disabled customers and parents with young kids.
