Went today to buy wedding outfit. Lovely ladies who made my husband feel very comfortable. They know their stock & produced many lovely, different, items. I stocked my wardrobe with all sorts as well as the wedding clothes. Super enjoyable experience
Who needs Ascot when you can spend a ladies day in Tavistock, having lunch and then time with Brigid. I don’t think I’ve ever left empty handed. Wonderful shop in a great town. Individuality at its best.
Lovely clothes. Something a bit different and you can be sure of the quality. I live in Yorkshire and either buy online or call in when I am visiting Devon. That tells you something.
On this occasion I was looking for a particular type and colour of top and Brigid gave me her time, and her expertise to find the right one. I can't thank her enough. It is always a pleasure to visit Brigids shop whether I am buying or not. I would recommend her selection of classy fashion any time.
I am extremely disappointed with Brigid Foley. Having been an internet customers for some time, when I found myself in Tavistock I visited the shop. I live in Droset. I tried on several outfits none of which looked good on me but then I was rather badgered to try on and buy an outfit that did not have a price tag attached. I reluctantly purchased the outfit without checking the price and when I got home was very surprised at both the quality and price. I decided to return the item, with tags still in place and in pristine condition, and asked for a refund. I received a credit note for the 170 pounds spent, no refunds evidently being available at the shop but no such problem from their online arm. At no time was I advised that they did not give refunds. Leaves a very nasty taste in the mouth and needless to say I will never visit the shop or their online arm again. I will be returning the Credit Note as I so rarely visit Devon.
