Wow! Having been in retail for over 25 years myself I have never experienced such rudeness! After been asked by the owner where I lived - if that even matters - and received a snooty negative comment about the town I live in! How utterly rude and judgemental - I am an avid clothes shopper and my daughter holds a senior creative position in the industry - perhaps a pretty woman moment - I will never spend my money in there and definitely not recommend to my own styling customers - what a shame - didn’t realise such experiences still happened - shame on you - no sisterhood here. I love independent stores and try to support them wherever possible - but recommend you find the same pieces much cheaper on Vinted and you won’t be judged about where you live.

What a shop - a super selection of lovely clothes - some new and some second hand high quality (Hush, Toast, Zen Ethic etc). The owner clearly has a great eye for things. I went in on both days I was in town and staff were consistently friendly and accommodating especially when helping my mother who is not as mobile as she used to be. I came away with two lovely summer dresses (second-hand) and a gorgeous new sun hat! Well worth a visit.
